Luke
I never asked to be here, but like always, you don't really chose what you're born into.
I was born in the darkest 'family' I know. The dark angel realm is where my family lives. And that's why I'm a dark angel as well. But barely any of them talk to me because I'm not like them.
They once had white wings, not black ones. Everyone here was once a pure angel. They weren't born this way, they became this way.
Well, almost everyone.
I never had a chance at being a pure angel. I was the only one born black wings, and the angels don't trust any dark angels anymore. It didn't end well last time.
They didn't believe my me or my parents when we told them I didn't have a choice. They refused to believe that what we told them was true. That was because no one in our realm had every had a baby here.
"Luke Hemmings!" a deep, bone-chilling voice called. I stood up from where I sat, and walked up on stage.
I was being assigned to someone. I was going to make sure that this person did bad things, got in trouble a lot, and anything to make them one of us in the afterlife.
Or so they thought.
The only way to show the pure angels that I was like them was to be assigned and do the complete opposite. I'm really hoping this works out.
The only question about all of this was, 'how am I going to get out of here?'. They pure angels have put high security around us to prevent our evil plans.
It's like the man read my mind because he said, "You'll leave by sneaking passed the electric fence. There's a small opening that only a few of us can fit through. You should be fine. Are you ready?"
I nodded and walked towards the mixer. I waited until I got my assigned mortal.
The man looked at the jar with names of people who are the most vulnerable to us. Those who aren't assigned to the pure angels.
"Congratulations, Hemmings, you're mortal is a sixteen year old boy who lives in Los Angeles. He goes by the name Ashton Irwin. Good luck, and don't let us down," he said bitterly before sending me off.
I left my "home" with one thing on my mind: This is going to be fun.
