-A/N-

So, I have never really writen a fan fic or anything like that and this isn't really one.  It is going to have lots of diffrent fandoms and celebs and stuff like that in it but it is going to be a lot of Niall Horan and One Direction and The Hunger Games (Wierd combo right?).  But yeah, I don't really expect this to be good or people to read it but yeah.

Sam’s POV

The fire blazed in front of me but it refused to touch me, I wanted it too.  The screaming had stopped so I knew that they were dead and I knew that I was next.  I sat on the floor, my knees hugged to my chest, waiting for the fire to hit me, to finish me off.  It was torture knowing that I was going to die but it was taking forever.  I couldn’t move, if I moved then it would attack me, if I just inched forward a tiny bit the fire would get me.  I heard the sirens outside and there was a glimmer of hope.  Maybe I would be safe.  But, just as I got my hopes up one daring flame shot at me hitting my arm, spreading to my lower leg.  I sat there in shock, I couldn’t move but now it was for a different reason, I couldn’t move because my brain stopped working.  I felt the warmth of the fire on my skin but I couldn’t feel any pain.  I heard running and suddenly a man appeared through the flames.  It was just a glimpse and then my world went black.

My eyes blinked open.  I was alone in a room.  There were tubes everywhere and I was hooked up to a thousand monitors.  My both of my arms and my left leg were  wrapped in bandages.  I look over and see someone asleep in the chair.  She looked vaguely familiar. “Hello?” I asked, waking her up.  She jolted awake.

“Sammy?” She asked excitedly. No body has called me Sammy since I was 6. “Sammy, its me. Its Emily.”  Emily. Emily is here.  My brain fills with a thousand thoughts.

Then I said the only thing that I could think of “Bitch!”

“What?” She seemed hurt.  But she couldn’t be.  She hurt me, she left me, she is not allowed to feel hurt.

“You left!” I screamed “You abandoned me!” tears streaming down my face.

“I didn’t want to leave you but I had to get out of there, that was not a healthy way to live” She said as she sat on the bed next to me.

“You could have taken me with you” I choked out in between sobs.

“I left when I was only fourteen, can you imagine raising a six year old?” she asked

“No, but you could have come back for me or at least called” I said, my voice shrinking.

“I did but mom said that if I tried to contact you, she would call the police and make me come home and then she would shoot the both of us.”  She said and I started to understand where she was coming from.

“Where is Sophie?” I ask, I don’t think she was home the night of the fire but she might have come home early from her play date.

“She is at her friends house, she wasn’t hurt by the fire.  Sophie has come in everyday and slept in bed next to you while you slept.” She said “She should be here soon, her friends mom is going to bring her here.  I didn’t know that mom had another little girl”

“Yeah, well she's a sweetie. Where are we going to live?” I said, hoping that she would say that she is going to take us home.

“They said that you could come home once you were awake and stable.”  she said, a huge smile crossing her face. I nodded and felt my eyes getting heavy.  Emily sees me to begin to fall asleep and she slides down until she is laying next to me.  She wraps her arms around me and I lean my head on her chest.

“I still don’t totally forgive you” I mumbled. I slipped into a deep sleep.
