I avoided Jack entirely for the whole next week; whenever he looked at me I looked away, whenever he called my name I pretended I didn't here. I knew it was torturing him but I didn't care.
Cristiano was gone a lot more often than he used to be, with secret meetings and conferences. Arabella tried to make me understand but it was lonely.
As much as I hated Cristiano, I couldn't even imagine not being around him. He was bad for me in every way possible, but somehow he was good for me too. Arabella had recently told me that she and Tony's wedding would be in a couple weeks and she asked me if I would be her maid of honor. Of course, I was thrilled to do it, the only problem was that Cristiano was the best man.
Right now would be the perfect time to do some yoga. After I changed into my pink sports bra and spandex, I put my hair up and headed down to my studio. The moment I stepped inside I was transported back to when Jack had first brought me here. When Cristiano had acted all jealous around us and then how he had kissed me.
Shaking those thoughts away, I shuffled my music on my phone and laid down my yoga mat. I was in the middle of doing downward dog when a knock sounded on the door.
"Come in!" I called over the loud music.
Cristiano stepped inside and I automatically felt insecure about my sweaty appearance.
"Good morning Cristiano," I huffed as I stretched my leg backward.
His eyes didn't flicker as he watched me.
"Good morning, Ava," he replied.
"I see you're enjoying your yoga studio."
"Yep, it releases a lot of my frustration and stress."
He stayed silent for a few seconds as he watched me switched positions.
"Is there something you wanted?" I asked.
"No, just thought I'd stop by," he answered and my expression dropped.
He stood there, watching me as I started to stretch my quads.
"Are you just going to stand there watching me?" I asked teasingly. The corner of his lip twitched into a smile.
"No. May I join you?"
"Uh, yeah... I guess."
He came forward, undoing his tie and unbuttoning his dress shirt in the process. Sweet mother Mary... that boy's beauty would never phase me.
When he began to undo his buckle and unzip his pants, my eyes widened and he caught me eyeing him questioningly.
"How am I supposed to do yoga in dress pants?" He teased as he faced me in his black boxer briefs.
And how was I supposed to get any yoga done when all that was covering him was a thin piece of fabric...?
"Am I distracting you?" He pondered, trying to repress a grin.
I furiously shook my head and he laughed.
"Alright, what's first?"
I changed the music genre to more relaxed and mellow.
"Stretching," I replied.
He spread out on the floor so that his arms and legs were out wide. I tried not to giggle at his formation but he looked like a starfish.
