Chapter 16: "Tonight baby girl we'll have a party" - au Bord de la Mer, The 1975 (One of my favorite unreleased songs by them...)
Of course there is Ghost and 102 that I like too ;p
Kat's POV:
I wore a black leather pleated skirt with a tight fitted black and white shirt. I grab my leather jacket and twirl around to Kiera.
She was wearing my pink pleated skirt with a light purple blouse for. I squeal as I see her.
"Ahh! You look so cute!", I cry excitedly.
She blushes and I grab the ribbons of her blouse and tie it.
She looks at me weirdly but I ignore it.
"There. Now we are all set!"
Our parents let us skip school today to go to the concert in SF.
Since the city was pretty far, we decided to take the BART and arrive there extra early because we bought GA tickets.
When my parents drop us off at the BART Station, we ran off without a word, too excited.
This was our first time to the city by ourselves and we felt like grown-ups.
"Oh my gosh what if some old man comes up to us and asks why we are alone? Oh! And what if cops pull us over because we aren't at school", Kiera cries, scared. But I know she was partially kidding.
We laugh and paid for our ride which was like already $20...
When we hop onto the BART, there were barely any adults but some kids our own age, wearing all black and white.
I see that some of them wore t-shirts that said, "The 1975".
I gasp and came up to them. "Hey, you guys are going to the concert too right?", I ask, excited.
They nod and before they can say anything, Kiera comes up to me and whispers, "Remember, we aren't supposed to talk to strangers?"
She seems to be shaken by how they all dressed. One girl died her hair black and white with piercings nearly all over her body while another boy had black makeup on, matching the girls.
I roll my eyes while the kids laugh.
Kiera blushes but one girl who wore black ripped jeans with a white t-shirt and black leather jacket smiles at us and says, "Hey! My name is Linsta. This is Jordan and Rachel", she points at her two friends who seem to be dating, for they were holding hands.
Kiera and I smile back and said, "Hi!".
We continued to talk the whole ride and we learned that Jordan and Rachel were dating and that Linsta was just a third wheel but she loves Rachel too much to leave her.
When we arrive in SF, we decided to stick together since we all bought GA tickets and wanted to be together during the show.
Jordan had been in SF a couple of times and knew some really good place to eat with cheap prices.
So we end up eating some pizza place that was really good.
I got plain cheese because I don't really like toppings while Jordan and Rachel shared a combination. Linsta bought pepperoni while Kiera bought pineapple and ham.
We got to-go so we can look around. We went to several stores on the way and we finally arrive at our destination. The Bill Civic Auditorium.
Jordan offered to stay in line while we look around at the souvenirs they sold around the venue.
Rachel bought two rose pink box necklaces, one for her and one for Jordan. I smile at how cute that was.
I bought a forty dollar hoodie that said: "The 1975"... yeah shame on me.
Meanwhile, Kiera was roaming around looking at a sticker with a rainbow heart that said, "Loving Someone".
I smile and say to her, "Oh I love that song".
She didn't seem to hear me but she nodded and put the sticker down.
Linsta then grabs the sticker and says, "If you're not going to buy it, do you mind if I do?".
Kiera looks at her weirdly and says, "Um.. yeah sure go ahead".
Linsta ends up buying two stickers and Kiera didn't want to buy anything.
Jordan then yells at us to hurry, "Guys! They're letting us in".
