Chapter 1

(picture above is Rae). "RAE"!!!! "YOUR GONNA BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!" My mother practically screamed at the top of her lungs to get me downstairs due to the fact she felt she only should ask once,and makes Shure when she asks once,I hear her once.Today was my first day at a new school, after being separated from the school I have been at For my whole life.I groggily flopped off my bed, still upset from the sudden departure,away from all of my friends.But hey life's not fair right? Well at least that's what my mother says.She started using that term A LOT more frequently after my dad left.Well, I have to start getting ready for my first day of grade 7! Yay! (Note the sarcasm). I dressed my self in a plain white shirt with my stressed old jeans.Quickly I then ran down the stairs and jumped the last few steps of landing with a thud. "Good morning Rae". My mother said in a monotone, as I slung my lanky body into a wooden chair at my kitchen table.I noticed for once the fruit basket centerpiece,for once actual had fruit in it.I reached for an apple and slipped on my convereses. "Rae get in the car".My mom said. "No mom". "I think I would rather walk". "Suit your self". Our new home was pretty crappy,no lie. But the bright side of moving was the sights.Ever since I was a young child I spent most of my time outside.My mother was actually really my comfortable with me roaming wherever.I adore the outdoors,but the woods I cherished the most. Before trotting off to school,I decided to take a moment to relish the presence of the wind and outdoors. I closed my eyelids letting my top and bottom eyelashes interlock. I concentrated deeply on my inner thoughts then the wind started to blow, brushing past my hair and filming a perfect cast of my face,then rolling off.I inhaled very deeply,then sighed.Instead of going on the road path I decided to take a path through the woods,as I thought I might as well,knowing I would be spending most of my time there.l purposely left an hour early so I could spend my time in the woods.I did not have anything in my bookbag,because I didn't need anything.so it was quite easy to carry.*crackle crunch crack* Some one is near. I thought to myself. "Hello"?!? I yelled. No one responded and the e crackling gotten louder. Quickly I grabbed a branch arm and tried to hoist myself up,even with my greatest attempt though I failed. I always stunk at climbing.quickly I dashed to a large tree and hid behind "Hello"? A voice called back after a while.I slowly slung my head around the tree to peek. "I see you,you know." My cheeks flushed due to my stupidity.Shyly,I stepped from the tree,and I did so cautiously as well of course."who are you" I asked. He let out a deep chuckle. "My name is Cody, Yours"? I stood straight and proudly stated "Raven". "But everybody calls me Rae".
