"How did you find me?" she said in a very small voice.

How? It was no laughing matter how he found her. And then just like that, his mind decided to make him see the whole episode again.

He was currently at his office in the empire then when Winter called. Ang sabi ay naabutan daw nito si Moira na kayakap ang lalaking doctor, and that they are talking and laughing and stuff like that. He said that it was a doctor kaya hinayaan niya itong pumasok. When Ichi heard that, he went ballistic with rage.

Agad niyang pinatay ang tawag habang mabilisang inabot ang susi ng kotse at tumatakbong bumaba ng building para pigilan kung ano man ang ginagawa ng dalawa. Unfortunately, the rain started pelting heavily so the traffic just got worse. Nang matagalan siya sa kakahintay sa trapiko, sinuong niya ang ulan at tumakbo patungo sa ospital.

And then he found them laughing, the guy holding Moira's arms as if they were best of friends. But the fiery anger turned to ice when she hit him, not once but twice. Hindi naman si Ichiro sensitibong tao, but he grew up with Pyre and even a favorite son can occasionaly catch a glimpse of his father's madness. May mga pagkakataong sinasaktan sila nito noong bata pa sila which all stopped when the boys grew muscles.

He went out of the hospital after dismissing the guy and after hurting the woman that means a lot to him. Umalis siya kasi ayaw niya nang makasakit pa ng higit sa nagawa niya. And then, another call came telling him that Moira was gone.

Gone.

God, he never want to hear that word again. Nang balitaan siya ni Winter na wala na si Moira, he didn't feel anger, he didn't feel frozen, instead, he felt pain. Deep agonizing pain from within his heart, na para bang may umukit sa puso niya at kinuha ang parte nun.

He called but she didn't answer him. He called until his hands ache from the repeated gesture, until not only was his hands feeling the ache, but also his soul. Kasi gustong-gusto niya nang marinig ang boses nito at masigurado na maayos ang kalagayan nito kung saan man ito dinala ng dalawang tao na sinabi ni Winter na kasama nitong umalis.

And then when they were finally able to talk, she has to send that picture.

That was the final straw actually. After that, he vowed that he will never, ever, ever do anything that would make her cry. Ever. Tinawagan niya si Cade who also tracked the call thru their own satelite and said the exact position of Moira's friend's house. And that was how he found her.

Ichiro looked down at the woman who turned his world upside down since the day he met her and smiled.

Nakatulog na si Moira ng humihikbi. Malamang hindi na rin nito alam na naisaboses nito ang huling nasa isip.

Kinuha niya ang kumot saka itinabon iyon sa katawan nito. And then he studied her face. Medyo namamaga ang  mga mata nito at hindi na kailangan pa ng malalim pag-iisip kung bakit. He was a jerk to her, and she doesn't deserve him. Nang makita niya ang itsura nito sa larawan na ipinadala sa kanya sa messenger, he immediately decided that he can't leave her alone like that.

His heart which he believed to be made of ice made a massive melt over. Pakiramdam niya ay ito ang unang beses na tumibok ang puso niya. As he stared at her tear-stricken face, he felt his heart clench in response.

She look so fragile, so small, and so vulnerable. Hindi niya lubos akalain na nagawa niya itong saktan ng ganun-ganun na lang. But damn, he is Ichiro Montereal. He was known as the Iceman for a reason--- a very good one at that. And he doesn't have a heart. But when it comes to this girl, he might as well be a damn cotton candy, he always melt.

Always.

Hinawi niya ang ilang hibla ng buhok na tumabon sa mukha nito saka inipit iyon sa likod ng tainga. And then he did what he wanted to do since she opened that door a moment ago.
