Asking for advise

About November time in 2015 I started thinking about my life a bit more. I had just gotten into reading and watching Yaoi. It was truly fascinating for me and still is. Anime made me question my sexuality again, so I said to my friend (who is best friends with the only openly gay person in the school) "I'm confused, I have a feeling I might be bisexual" and she just replied with "well don't rush, you don't have to know straight away, let it come to you. And you could always try going out with a girl, see how that goes and if you like it then cool."
   I thought that was fair enough so I didn't rush anything and kept it in mind but didn't date anyone.
