The Garion continent. It was the fourth continent discovered in Aulkan. The other three continents are the Orwellian continent where Brindam Territory stands, Playan continent where Aufilia was, and the Herim continent where the Nodian Territory takes place. The Garion continent was the only continent that doesn't have any kingdom set upon it. But big and small villages have already settled here years ago. These cluster of villages are known as the Nameless Country. The Garion continent was a small peaceful continent which was why this was where the three kings signed their peace treaty almost 30 years ago. Nobody had claimed the Garion continent yet but nobody wants to for some reason. It was said that this was where exiles and victims of war go to seek for peace and a home to stay.
Alice had been at the Nameless Country many times since growing up traveling a lot. If only she had her father's map, then she'll know where she was. She had Noel and Wendell to ask.
"The Garion continent..." she said to herself. "Where exactly in Garion are we?"
"Well, we are in the west side of Garion." Noel answered. "This is the Arcin Forest."
Alice was deep in thought. She remembered how much her father wanted to take her to Brindam. He was determined that she gets there. He also said something that Alice didn't understand. About her being his daughter. Wasn't she always his daughter? She thought, but she felt that her father was hiding something from her all these years.
Then she had a look of certainty, "I... I need to go to Brindam." Alice said. "My father needs me to go there."
"Hm? For what?" Wendell asked scratching his chin.
"I don't know. But maybe it has to do with..." Alice stopped and she lightly touched her eyepatch. "I just need to go there!" Alice jumped to her feet.
"Whoa there, let's not get too hasty, Alice." Noel said trying to make Alice sit down.
"But I have to get there... my father needs me to go there!"
"Alice, calm down. Listen, if you're there, what are you going to do next?" Noel said with a serious voice. "You'll just get lost Alice without thinking about where to go. Who to look for."
"But--"
"No buts, Alice! You have to think this through. In the mean time, why don't you stay here for a while. Get some rest and cook up a plan. Alright?"
Alice looked at Noel with a troubled look. Then she thought that he's right and she shouldn't do things fast without a plan of action.
"Okay, I guess I'll stay here a little longer..." She said.
"Good! It's getting boring here with just a guy and an old man with balding head living together for months. If you know what I mean." Noel gave a mischievous grin.
"Ahem." Wendell interrupted with an annoyed look in his face. He then hit the back of Noel's knees with his oddly shaped cane.
"Ow! Wendell, hey!" Noel yelped.
"I believe our guest didn't slept well since she camped out in this forest. She should take her rest now."
Alice rested up and she helped Wendell and Noel with some chores. They insisted that Alice shouldn't do such things since she was a guest but Alice also insisted that she help them because Noel saved her and they had been so nice to her. Somehow doing these chores seemed so weird for her. She never had a home to stay before and yet she feels that she does in the little cabin in the woods. Even though she loved adventuring and traveling all over the world and always on the go, it felt nice to slow down for once.
Hours later, it became night again. Noel managed to hunt five hares. That's two more hares than he would normally hunt. He was thinking that if it's because he had a guest or that he got lucky in the hunt. Wendell cooked their dinner and Alice helped. She couldn't help but ask some questions to Wendell.
