After Biology, last period, once everybody had left I waited for the foreign named girl to pack up all of her books and pens. She walked straight past me and down the corridor.

"Cara, wait!" I shouted catching her attention. I lightly jogged up to her. Where was she going? The exit is the other way.

"Why are you going towards detention? I'm the bad one, not you." I asked softly, only to get a confused stare in reply. She turned around again, heading right toward my destination. The detention office.

I had to retake year 11 twice and I'm actually 17, not 15 like everyone else, so I'm in detention because my grades aren't getting any better.

"Cara, why have you got detention?" I asked quietly.

She pulled out a school letter from her jean side pocket and handed it to me. I opened it and read the sheet.

Miss Caraphernelia "Hecate" Ana-Arwen,

Detention

After school, 3;30 pm - 4;30 pm.

Reason: Graffiti and inappropriate drawings on school property. Lockers and school walls.

Signed; Mr Toro, Headmaster.

Date: 17/11/16.

I gasped a little and handed the sheet back to Cara.

"That wasn't you right? It couldn't have been. You're always so sensible. You were framed right." I asked and all she did was slowly nod her head and push open the door.

She held open the door for me and took her seat at the back. I decided I'd stay away from her and I sat at the front. Miss Ellington, the detention manager sat at a desk at the front of the classroom, glancing up at us once we walked in.

Once the long hour was up, we both got up and picked our bags up and Miss E went. Cara looked like she was in physical pain as she got up, and I heard multiple bones click.

"Cara? Are you alright?" I asked and she nodded, walking out into the car park. It was getting dark and it was heavily raining. We both stepped out of the door and got instantly soaked with rain.

"Oh great..." I heard a very quiet mumble from Cara. Holy shit, she spoke? Her voice was so quiet, beautiful, soft and airy.

"Pardon?"

"I have to walk home 40 minutes in this weather..." She said to me, almost in a whisper. She had a strong French accent and she sounded beautiful.

"I can drive you?" I offered. She turned around shocked.

"Would you?" She whispered, pleading.

"Of course, c'mon, get in." I gestured, opening up my car and holding the passenger door open for her. She nodded her head in a grateful manner and plugged her headphones in.

"Cara, why don't you put it through the aux chord? That way I can listen too."

"I thought this genre was just meaningless noise to you?" She questioned anxiously, shuffling away slightly.

"Maybe so, but considering you're my guest and I'd like to hear it for myself, please?"

Cara nodded and put her phone down to find the aux chord whilst I turned on the engine and let my car warm up before we went anywhere.

The song started playing and the singer started immediately. I couldn't really tell if it was a man or woman singing, but it didn't actually sound half bad; the lyrics that I caught were actually surprisingly interesting.

*How the Hell did you ever pick me? Honestly, I could sing you a song; but I don't think words can express your beauty...* Were the lyrics that I heard.

I smiled and looked over at her. She glanced back at me and cracked a tiny smile.

For once she smiled, for once the pain in her eyes was replaced by happiness.

"Brown eyes and natural white hair." She susurrated "Suits you..." She concluded and locked eyes with mine. I just smiled and gazed into her eyes, lost in the music and her beauty.

*They say that love is forever,
Your forever is all that I need.
Please stay as long as you need.
Can't promise that things won't be broken;
But I swear that I will never leave
Please stay forever with me...*

Wow. These lyrics were so compelling; my jaw had actually dropped. How had I been so ignorant all this time? This music, was, was moving...

I guess that Cara had seen my dropped jaw and her small smile turned into a giggle. The most adorable giggle I had ever heard; also the most adorable I'd ever seen. The tension and burden lifted from her face and transformed a perfect airy smile.

Emotions exploded in my chest and stomach. If that didn't move you, nothing would.

"Cara, your smile; it's beautiful..." I whisper, so she can only just hear me. That only makes her grin with her gorgeous cerulean eyes beaming at me. I wanted to cry in delight and I'd only just met the damn girl.

When I pulled up in her drive, she grabs her ink pen and scribbles something on my hand, her eyes filled with despair again.

"Thank you for the ride, bubye... uh, Chase." She quickly blurted out.

"Any time Cara, are you okay?"

"Fine." She replied and smiled.

"Alright." I responded waiting for her to get into the house before driving back to my place.

*IMMM BACK BOII's  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) How was it? You LIEk?*
