The tale of deltora

The story of Del.

Many centuries ago men discovered Deltora and the man who found it became king until one day we found them living in our rightful home. We had no  choice but to fight to see who would become the rightful king.

I wake up in my light blue bed with my sheets pulled down and my fan turned up to three. I get up and stretch and turn the fan off. I clean my bed and put on my light blue slippers and white fluffy dressing gown and run downstairs "good  morning your majesty" says one of the maids "sorry I'm in a rush but I'm good!" I yell out running down the stairs I run Down from all the corridors until finally I reach my father he looks at me and folds his arms "your late" he says in a loud booming voice I sigh and nod "I was tired father." I said silent and sheepishly he leans down at me and stares at me "it won't happen again I'm hoping" I nod and walk away "wait" he says loudly I walk back to him and he gives me an alarm clock. I sigh and go upstairs I put the clock next to my bed and I put on my gold long dress and tigh my hair up in a bun. I wear my baige high heels and put my gold lipstick on and walk outside to my father I see him talking with some one looking very fancy and tall "come in" he orders the tall man comes inside and looks at me curiously "is this the girl?" He questions  my father nods at him and the man looks back at me "he will be coming shortly" he snaps and walks out smiling. I look at my dad curiously and he smiles at me "what just happened father?" I ask "wedding" he says. I cover my mouth in shock and run up the stairs father that my tiny legs could carry me. I run into my room avoiding all the questions that the maids were giving me. I slam my door and lock it and put a chair blocking it I run to my bed and sob why was I getting forced into this? Why I can't just marry someone I truly love? I hear my father yelling out my name and I put a pillow on my head it gets louder and I put more weight onto the head as I possibly can.  I hear loud thumping footsteps coming closer to me as if he was a giant. I run into the closet and get into a position that I thought was comfy I put a blanket over me and close my eyes tightly I hear loud thumping noises coming from my door and I ignore that as much as I could. But then they stop and I hear footsteps and hear my dad "Paige when I find you, you will be in MASSIVE trouble young  lady. I keep quiet and the footsteps fade away..
