Chapter 4

*John POV*

What the fuck is that noise?
Oh right, Alex's alarm.
WAIT.
SCHOOL.
SHIT.

I jumped out of bed and looked at the clock. It read 7:50. I have class in 15 minutes and it takes 10 minutes just to get there.

I needed to brush my teeth and get ready, but Alex was taking a shower, and I couldnt just walk in.

I knocked on the door, "Alex?"
No answer
I knocked again, a little bit harder and called his name but louder.
No answer.

Fuck it. I gotta go.

I grabbed my bag and ran out of the building, sprinting across the campus. I walked in, out of breath, and saw one empty seat left. It was in between Samuel Seabury and John Adams. John was a nice kid, but Samuel.. I couldn't stand him. He hung out with Thomas Jefferson, and his whole crew was a bunch of low-life fuckheads.

I politely sat down in the seat just as the teacher walked in. Thank god I wasn't late.

*Alex POV*

I was one of the first people to be in the classroom. The only other people here were Aaron Burr, James Madison, and some girl who I didn't know. I've seen Aaron and James around the campus. John told me who they were. Aaron and Angelica were really good friends and James hung out with this guy named Thomas. I haven't seen him around yet. From what John told me, he isn't a good guy.

I sat down next to John at the table we were sitting at for lunch. Eliza was across from me and Peggy was on the other side of me. We were still waiting for everyone else.

"So how was everyone's first day?"

We all looked up at Eliza and smiled. Peggy spoke first. "It was really fun! I met this girl named Maria and she seems really nice. I really like my classes too!"

A smile spread wide across her face when she mentioned Maria. They must have became friends or something.

"Hey guys." Hercules and Lafayette sat down, followed by Angelica and Aaron. "Can Aaron sit with us today? He can't find anywhere else to sit." Angie had a sad smile on her face when she said that. We all welcomed him to sit down, and we talked to one another while continuing to eat.

*Peggy POV*

Wow. Maria was so pretty and so nice. Her laugh was so sweet and it made me happy. Her smile was warm and lovely and her lips looked so soft. I just wanted to hug her and never let go.

Woah there Pegs. Calm down. You just met her. This gay of yours needs to chill. Try to think of something else before someone sees you.

*Hercules POV*

Look at him. His hair is so perfect and his eyes are absolutely beautiful. He's so funny and caring towards everyone. His lips look so kissable. I doubt he will ever feel the same way about me. He probably doesn't even like guys. *sigh*

*Lafayette POV*

"Herc? Are you alright?"

"Oh um, yeah! Sorry, I just zoned out for a moment"

I looked at the boy as went back to staring off into the distance. Something wasn't quite right with him, but I'll ask him about that later. Hopefully nothing too serious is going on.
