It was the day when her life has changed. Alaina could remember it as if it was yesterday. Clearly. It was late August when she and her parents, Mr and Mrs Sanford, were in the car, decided to go to the beach. Delight filled their lungs.
Alaina was standing on the backseat through their convertible's roof, her Silky hair blustered from the blowing wind. She closed her eyes, enjoying the breeze, feeling the wind rushing. She admired the view of California's palm trees and the clear blue sky.
In a blink of an eye, it all changed atmospherically. She saw a large figure coming through it felt like a giant shadow. she leant inside the car to inform her parents, only to know that it was too late.
She saw her dad's hands shaking, and felt the adrenaline filling the small car of theirs. And in a jiffy, she heard the crash so loud that she'd never witnessed before. It happened so fast for her to realise, to believe, to think. But It was real.
