Chapter 1

~Veda's POV~

When I got to the college I asked the

administrator for my room number and key. I was room 229, great. I had to walk to the end of the school just to get to my dorm... Ugh! Once I finally got there the door was unlocked and I heard someone blasting One Direction... Oh great... When I walked in I saw this super gorgeous brown haired girl, who was wearing high waisted shorts with a black tank that showed her dream catcher belly button piercing, and finally to pull it off red vans. I look at myself in the mirror on the door and I'm wearing pink skinny jeans, black toms, my penny board in hand, a beanie, and an imagine dragons tank. When I looked up she was smiling like a pedophile then started laughing... Um okay then...

"Hey I'm Morgan and IM YOUR ROOM MATE!"

I smiled at her excitement

"HIYA IM VEDA!"

I screamed back and we both started screaming like we've known each other forever. After that we laughed and exchanged numbers. I left her to go stroll around campus and to check where my classes were. I was walking around for about 30 minutes when I walked into something hard... And warm? When I looked up it was a really cute guy with blonde hair and green eyes, he was wearing a neff beanie, a v-neck shirt that showed off his muscles, denim shorts and black vans. 'Keep calm Veda... Don't lose your cool' he looked at me curiously then smiled.

"Hey! I'm Connor, and you are...?"

"I'm Veda"

"That's a really cute name"

I hesitated... HE THOUGHT MY NAME WAS CUTE!!

"Heh, thanks, um, I have to go back to my dorm and sorry for bumping into you"

"Oh, it's fine. I'll see you around then?"

"Sure"

~Connor's POV~

"Oh, it's fine. I'll see you around then?" After she hesitated and bit her lip, damn that's cute... She finally said, "Sure" then she walked off. I walked back to my dorm and my roommate was there.. Just great. Kyle was a total dick to girls and he never stayed at our dorm, so that's a plus.

"Hey bro! Dude, I saw you talking to a really hot chick. What's her name?"

"Veda." I said blankly

"Ooh kinky. Are you gonna hit that? If not I will."

"Shut up! Don't say that about her."

"Ooh. Someone's getting defensive.."

"Just shut up Kyle. Nobody cares about what you have to say anymore."

Kyle left the room while slamming our door. Why was he so mad? I was just defending Veda because... I don't know, I guess I was falling for her? I think that might be impossible because the only thing I know about her is her name. Ugh, why is life so complicated?

~Veda's POV~

When I walked back to my dorm I herd yelling. Then I realized it was Connor talking about some girl, whatever. I started to walk away, when I heard his door slam shut, I paused, and when I turned around I saw a guy stomp away in the different direction away from me. Geez, what's up his ass? When I got back to my dorm, Morgan was passed out on her bunk. I claimed the spare bed in the corner and started to unpack. I played Lana Del Rey quietly so I wouldn't wake her up. I was done around seven, so I walked to the bathroom to take a shower. When I got out Morgan was gone. I didn't worry too much because I didn't want to be a crazy person. I went outside and saw this big tree, I climbed to the first thick branch and sat down to look at the stars and the moon.

"Hey stranger. Have room for one more?"

I looked down and it was Connor.

"Yep. Come on up."

He pulled himself up and sat next to me. I got shivers down my back from his body heat. I guess he saw me shivering because he gave me his jacket. It smelled like old spice c: .

"We should go back to your dorm, it's almost nine."

I hadn't realized that it has been almost two hours. Connor climbed down first, then when I tried to get down I slipped and fell, a moment later I found myself clinging onto Connor for dear life. I let go blushing, he smiled and laughed.

"It's not funny! I could've died." He laughed even harder when I said that.

"I'm sorry Veda, it was just kind of funny how you screamed, even though it's like a story high."

I was so angry, I turned right around and started running trying to fight back tears
