Café

I walked into the café Lisa and I usually meet. Lisa is my best friend. We meet in junior year of high school. She came from Thailand and transferred to my school. We figured out that we had a lot in common. We both like to sing and rap and we both speak English. We just clicked and have been inseparable ever since.

"Hey Lisa", I said as I approached the table Wendy was sitting at.
"Rosé hi"
I sat down and a waiter came to take our order.
"Mmh I think I'll have a strawberry smoothie oooh actually a strawberry banana smoothie", Lisa said.
"Make that two please".
The waiter said,"Sure thing sweetheart" and winked at me.
As soon as he left Lisa was gushing about how he winked at me.
"OH MY GAWD did you see that he winked at you!! He's pretty cute if you ask me".
"Ani I'm not really interested" I said. I get little gestures like that quite often but they're just from men that have only asked me based on my looks.
"Ugh I guess you're right. Like you always say it's better to get a man's attention based on personality than looks." Lisa sighed."Anyway I have something to tell you. Don't freak out ok but yg entertainment is having auditions in a week and I think you and I should audition". She looked up at me trying to see if I approved or not.
"You know what? Let's do it. We both know I don't have any plans and you can't live off of that part-time job forever. I think we could actually make it", I said. I think it's a good idea. We might not make it but I don't want to regret what could've happened if I had taken the chance and I do love to sing.
"Really?!?! Yayayayayayayay! Oh my gawd what song should we do? Oh should we dance too? Scratch that I think we should show off our strongest talent:singing", she said. "I agree".

Just then the waiter came with our drinks. "Here you go ladies two strawberry banana smoothies", said the waiter. We thanked him and happily drunk our smoothies. I can't believe we're doing this.
