Hunting For Classmates

The zodiacs were all getting ready to go to school when Gemini ran in the living room.

"WE DID IT!" screamed Gemini.

"We did what?" asked Aries.

"We finally got Volans to quit!" said Gemini.

"WHAT?" screamed everyone else.

"So we're getting a new teacher?" asked Libra.

"Eh, I don't mind," said Aquarius with a grin on his face.

"Hopefully the new teacher is hot," said Virgo.

"Even if the new teacher is a guy?" asked Scorpio.

"What are you implying?" asked Virgo.

"Either way it will be fun to break the next one like we broke Volans," said Sagittarius while cracking his knuckles.

"So Volans meant it when he screamed 'THIS TIME I SWEAR I'M QUITTING' and knocked a bunch of papers on the floor," said Taurus.

"Poor Volans, he just couldn't handle us," said Capricorn.

"But I don't want to go to school without Volans! What if the new teacher isn't any fun?" asked Leo.

"You guys wasted so much time arguing with Volans that we only got two months of work done within the five months that we were in school," said Pisces.

"Don't worry, I'm sure we can waste time with the new teacher as well," said Cancer.

The bell rang. Lyra was in the washroom looking in the mirror to make sure she looked decent for the first time meeting her new class. She had blonde curly hair and brown eyes. Then Lyra decided that she looked good enough and walked over to her new classroom. She held the door handle and took a deep breath before swinging the door open.

"Good morning students- wait what?" asked Lyra. She looked around the near empty classroom. Only one student sat in a desk reading her book. "Uh hi? Are you the only student in this class?" Taurus continued reading without looking up. "Great. My first class only has one student and she's deaf," muttered Lyra.

"I am not deaf I'm just reading," replied Taurus.

"Oh I'm sorry. You didn't answer and I thought that... well... anyway are you the only student in this class?" asked Lyra.

"The others are dead. Not that I care," said Taurus.

"What?!?" asked Lyra horrified.

Taurus closed her book. "Nah I'm kidding. You know Volans? He was our old teacher and the others refuse to come to class unless he's here. There are eleven others and they're more than likely hanging around on school grounds, so if you want to teach, you should go find them," explained Taurus.

"Alright," said Lyra.

"When you find them don't bring them back here alright? They're too noisy and I can never read around them," said Taurus.

"Sure. Let's go find them," cheered Lyra.

"Yeah, you go do that," said Taurus. Then she picked her book up and continued reading. Lyra sighed and took the book out of Taurus' hands.

"Hey!"

"How about we make a deal? I don't have a clue what the other constellations are like so I need your help. If you help me find them I'll send a note to the office saying that I need to tutor you for the rest of the day while you sit here and read," offered Lyra.

"So if I help you find the others I get to sit in this room and read for the rest of the day?" asked Taurus. Lyra nodded.

"Deal," said Taurus.
