I was 3 years old. I got up and waddled around my back yard. Our yard was a small, fenced in, moderate grassy area, but their where woods behind the yard. I always heard strange noises from their and always felt strange around their. I heard a noise and looked into the woods. An eight foot man thing wore a black suit and red tie, it had no face and long tentacles, I heard it in my head whispering, I couldn't make out what it was saying. I heard the door of my house open and I darted around to see my mom, I looked back and it was gone. I looked at my mom and began to cry. Now let's fast forward to today. I heard my mom scream, my dad yell, and something break. I was in the living room at the time which meant I was right next to the back door. I got up and went out. I began to wonder through the woods to clear my mind like I always do when my parents fight. As I walked I heard a twig crack and I darted around. I saw a slim black thing disappear behind a tree. I walked behind the tree looking for any strange creatures or people. I gave up the search and turned around to see a giant abandoned Mansion. It was overgrown and water damaged, it looked creepy as hell but I still went in. I walked up to it and pushed open the old creaky door. It was huge, the windows were mainly busted, their was a giant faded red carpet. Their was two doors and a large stainless case. I decided to go upstairs. I walked over and put my foot on a stair seeing if it was stable. I than started slowly walking up the stairs. When I go-to the top their was a long corridor. I went in a few rooms not finding much . I came out and we to the next door. I pulled on the handle, it didn't open. The door was locked I kicked the door open and instantly regretted it. Their was random papers all around the room with weird drawings. The were all really creepy. I ran to leave but I was stopped. The terrifying creature I saw when I was 3 stood before me blocking the path. "What do you want from me?!" I said backing up. Whispers came into my head. His tentacle grasped the frame of the door, I only understood one whisper "join me." It said. I looked at him "is there something you want me to do?" I stared at him. "Kill." He looked down and grabbed my phone or of my left pocket. He pulled up a picture and showed it to me. It was my best friend. A girl I had grown up with. "But she's my b-best friend! What if I say I don't want to?" I looked at him. "Love dies" I understood what he meant. If I refuse everyone I love will die. I know he has the power to kill them too. I hung my head "Is that all you want me too do?" He pulled up another picture of a girl I like. "Recruit." I look at the picture and grabbed my phone. "Wh-what do I can you?"I said faintly. "Ssssslender" "Okay slender, I will do what you ask." He ran off and disappeared.
