Miss You

Star's POV

Earth? Never heard of that one before, but I'm not ready. I have a disability of not being able to see and I'm being sent off to a random place without any support? But I don't wanna leave. My family, my life, my childhood is going to be left if I were to actually go and I can't accept that, I just can't. I was so upset, first my boyfriend died and then suddenly my family is sending me to a dimension I've never heard of "Why would you send me there?" I said with a heartbroken expression on my face "So that you would take a little fresh air darling" Mom said while wiping her cheeks with a napkin. Atleast I felt her doing it, "Is there something wrong sweetheart?" Dad said, his voice laced in pity when he noticed my eyes filling up with tears, I wish I could see their faces right now

I sobbed lightly "Do you not love me anymore? Is a blind girl not worthy to be a princess? A daughter? or even a queen?" I wiped my tears away with my arm and sniffled "It's not that dear-" I cried, and this time I didn't hide "I'm not going! I'm staying here, I'm scared" I whispered the last part "Star Butterfly, I did not teach you to speak to me like that" Mom said but I didn't bother paying attention, I whistled calling out for Julie and Aurora and I heard barking, running and chains being dragged. I bent down and placed my hand out again as they placed their leashes there "To the garden fields please" I whispered to them then stood up, while I was walking out of the room with the hounds I could tell mom and dad were just looking at me because I could feel their gazes burning into the back of my head

I have never seen the garden before, especially the flowers but mother told me that they were absolutely 'Beautiful' and 'Elegant'. I only saw colors but aside from that, the rest was hazy, blurred and undefined... Mostly dark. I was laying down on the grass with my eyes closed, Julie and Aurora were on each side of my body sleeping peacefully, listening to the gentle sound of the wind and the trees dancing along with the breeze which did relax me aswell. I looked up at the blue sky and hummed gracefully, wondering what else this world has in store for me.

I was interrupted by sudden footsteps making me sit up and wake up the two dogs "H-hello?" I called out nervously as the footsteps stopped. "Star..." Dad? "Dad, Is that you?" He chuckled "Yes my dear" I sighed and gave him a weak smile, he took my hands in his hand and held it comfortingly "What is it?" I gave him an anxious look. "I'm sorry about the sudden news about you going to Earth but you have too. There is no choice" My heart sank, my expression changing into a depressed one. I looked down and breathed in "I understand" I felt him squeeze my hand "Sweetheart if we're sending you to Earth doesn't mean we don't love you. You're the most perfect daughter a king and a queen could ever ask for" I teared up while keeping my eyes to the ground "I-I'm blind" I sobbed gently "And that's what makes you unique." I looked up at him and smiled purely, trying to restrain my sniffles

"I wish I could see the world Dad" I gave him a face of dispair "The world is a very beautiful place Star. With many different possibilities" I beamed at my dad. He let go of my hands and placed something in it, I took it in my hands and held it up observing the color. It was a necklace "What does it look like?" I looked at him, my smile still visible "It's a gold chain necklace made from the most finest mineries here in Mewni and a star engraved on the most exorbitant diamond" Wow. This must be really expensive, but it must be really beautiful aswell "Dad this is too much, I can't accept this" I held my hands out to my father hoping he would take back the gift "No Star, it's a remembrance gift when you stay on Earth-- to remember your mother and father" I gave him a tight hug "Thank you" I whispered. Once we let go dad placed the necklace around my neck, I felt it, it did have chains and an engraved star in the middle. I love it

"When do I leave?" I looked at my dad with a curious face "Tomorrow at about 10 in the morning, and don't worry the royal maids will take care of your stuff" I sighed and nodded.

"Come on, let's go inside the castle shall we?" I chuckled and interlocked arms with my father and grabbed the hounds' leashes  and walked back inside.
