The announcement that was made boomed inside the halls of department of architecture. It was from the dean.

I hurridly huddled my stuffs, we were in the design class this late afternoon and when I'm on complete set, Julia Aria called me.

"Nuebs!" tawag niya pa. "Sabay-sabay na daw tayo nila Yani papuntang office." I smiled while nooding.

We silently sat at our drafting table at the back area to wait for the others. Nasa class pa kami ngayon at nagdi-dicuss lang ang professor. It's the first week or sort of opening for the mid-term. I, on the other hand got my attention on my phone when a sudden text came in.

From: Pres. Soph
Hey guys, I can't catch up with you, Nine, ikaw muna mag-meeting sa kanila.

I honestly don't know kung anong ime-meeting ko pa. But I typed, 'Sure' in reply.

Yani, Jes, and Marie finally approached us. They are my orgmates officers and my friends. Nagpa-alam kami sa professor namin na mauuna na dahil sa announcement. Pinayagan naman nya kami agad. We all said our gratitude and headed to our student organization office.

Sa school kasi, kumbaga, absuelto ang ganoong pangyayari once na si Dean ang nag-announce, hindi na kelangan ng secretariat pass para i-excuse.

We read the news bulletin, as soon as we got at our organization office. National Organization Makati Chapter, is our affiliated head chapter, ibig sabihin ito yung connections namin sa labas for ojt or internship. We tend to meet other professionals para mas mapadali yung work namin after college. I was lucky enough na na-endorse ako as an officer.

I am the secretary of National Academy Student Organization, mahigit two years na kaming naka-upo sa org na ito. Mahirap pagsabayin ang acads and org. Maliban sa kelangan mong mag-silbi sa mga students, kelangan mo ring mag-aral ng mabuti.

Umupo kami sa kani-kaniyang puwesto. I happened to be seated at the rear back, katabi ko ang desk ni President. Nasa harap naman namin ang conference table then at the front ang dalawang desk ng Vice. Maliit lang ang kuwarto ng org office, kaso ngayon ang daming tambak na paper works at mga props. Sila naman, naupo sa long table at nag-salungbaba.

I checked kung anong mga dapat gawin, kaso naisip ko naman yung plates na gagawin namin this term. Last month kasi nag-excuse na kami for volunteering into remote areas tapos ngayon may tour naman. Muntik mahugot yung grades ko nun, naging secure lang naman ako dahil gusto ko pa ding maging regular.

"Mga bes, sasaama tayo ha?!" sabi ni Yani. "Kaso opening ng mid-term, hanggang kailan ba yun?" dumukdok siya sa mesa habang ako napatawa sa ginawa nya. "Okay lang naman sigurong hindi sumama?" she even pouted, regret what all over her face.

Ibinagsak ni JA ang kanyang kamay sa lamesa. Nagulat kami sa ginawa niyang yun, para kasing kanina ang saya niya kasi may tour. She stood up, determined, face us and spoke, "Hindi! Hindi ako makakapayag, sasama tayo, hayaan natin ang responsibilities. Naku, nakakaloko ang design, so let's unwind again guys." pagkumbinsi niya.
