Unwritten: A Miranda Perez Story

      It's a Monday Morning. I personally hate Mondays with a passion. I got out of bed slowly, & knocked the shit out of my alarm clock. It finally stopped buzzing. I went through my morning routine then went downstairs for breakfast. My Brother, Jacob was sitting at the table and my mom was just finishing up breakfast. He looked up at me, then back down at his food.

Me: Good Morning!

Mom: Good Morning, baby. Hope you slept well.

Me: I did. It smells delicious in here. What's for breakfast?

Mom: Scrambled eggs, bacon, buttered toast, with some orange juice.

Me: Wow. That sounds amazing! Morning, Afro puff.

Jacob: Morning Googley eyes!

**I tried to smack him upside the head but all I got was a hand full of hair. His afro saved him this time.

Jacob: Nice try. But you're no match for my 'fro.

Me: Shut up.

Mom: Aye, sit down & finish eating. You have to get to school.

Me&Jacob: Yes, Mami.

**After we finished eating, we got into Jacob's car. He has his Permit and since school was like 2 blocks away it didn't matter. I made him pick up my friends Claire & Leona then, we drove to school.
My girls & I got out & walk to our lockers. Claire & Leona's lockers were right next to mine. Mine was A34. Claire's was A33. Leona 's was A35.
I'm at my locker getting my things for 1st period. I have P.E. I take my clothes home every Friday for a good wash. Someone came up behind me & covered my eyes.

Me: Ray.

Ray: you know it!

**I turned around to face him & he pulled me into a kiss. I could feel Claire and Leona's gaze burning a hole in the back of my head. I pull back & smiled.

Ray: You taste like Bacon.

Me: Shut up!

Ray: Hey, I Love bacon.

**I stared at him blankly as Jacob walked up.

Jacob: Hey, man. Let's go. I've been looking all-

**Jacob looked from me to Ray & shook his head... Yeah, he hates the fact I'm dating his best friend but he's just gonna have to get over it.

Ray: Hold up. I'm busy.

Jacob: Nah, we gotta go or Mr. Summers will kill us!

Ray: Alright.

*He turned to me

Ray: Well, I gotta go. We still on for tonight?

Me: Yeah.

Ray: Alright. See you then.

**He leaned in to kiss me again, but Jacob grabbed him by his hood & pulled him away. He's so annoying.

Claire: Oh, go ahead girl.

Me: I don't know what you're talking about.

Leona: Girl, we saw you over here tonguing Raquan.

**All I could do was smile. They both start laughing. I don't see what's so funny. So I looked around, then looked back at them like they're crazy.

Claire: Girl, Just hurry up. We're already late!!!!
