Standing in front of a mirror, you stare at your reflection. You were wearing all black, just for the occasion. You never thought this day would come. The day of your daughter's funeral. "I can't do this," you mutter to your yourself. You couldn't believe that you were standing inside the same chapel you got married in, but for your 8-year-old daughter's funeral. "It's all my fault," you say to yourself.

"No it's not," your husband says, wrapping his arms around you from behind.

"Yes it is. If I would've seen that car coming we would still have our little girl," you hiccup as tears threaten to fall.

"But you didn't see that car. It's not your fault, honey," he turns you around so you're facing him.

"It's not my fault," you cry.

"It's not your fault," Jace pulls you into him, his hand on the back of your head. You cry into your husband's chest, still blaming yourself internally.
