Present Day...

It was midnight and everyone was sleeping, I didn't leave my room the whole day, I just stared out my window and thought about how I was going to get Sebastian back. But the main thing I was thinking about was if he was dead and why Bay didn't want to help me get him back when he separated us. I finally left my room and went to the house kitchen to get something to eat. Bailey was there, she was sitting down reading a magazine, eating a apple. She saw me walk in and I saw somewhat of shock on her face, like she saw a ghost. I sat opposite of her and moved my hair from my face.

"Your off of hibernation?" She laughed. I smiled and looked at the time.

"I was only in my room for like 10 hours," I replied, "plus I've been thinking, about my home, my family, my brother, I know my parents don't care about me as much, but my brother."

"You've been thinking about going back?" She said, it's like she read my mind, or heard the conversation between me and Bay.

"Yes, I read your mind," she smirked, "forgot my powers already?"

"No, just not very focused," I told her.

She got up and walked over to the fridge, throwing the apple away in the nearest garbage. "Want apple juice?" She asked me, I nodded and she poured me half a cup, walked back to me and placed it in front of me as she sat next to me. Her hair was in a ponytail, it revealed her eyes more, for some reason they were sparkling.

"Why are your eyes-" I began to ask.

"Sparkling," she finished, "cause I'm using my powers right now, reading your mind, sorry I'll stop."

"It's ok, do you just read people's mind when you want to?" I asked, waiting a minute to drink my juice.

"I mean, I use to read people's mind in school, to hear gossip, or just because I was bored," she said while laughing, "my mom told me to stop using my powers as if I was playing a game, but I wasn't, other people's lives were more interesting than mine, so I just used my powers a lot more."

She told me storied about her school days, before she was captured and her family was slaughtered. I never got to live that normal teenage life, I was a natural wolf. Sometimes me and Bay would sneak off from the pack at night, take a run through the woods and go to the human part of the town, and just watch what they do at night. See how normal there lives were. One time we even went to an amusement park, had cotton candy and popcorn. One of the funniest nights we ever had, but we can't go back now. It's too much of a risk.

"Remember when u saw my dream?" Bailey said, removing me from my thoughts, "was it clear or blurry?"

"Clear, why?" I asked.

"That's weird, it's never clear, my parents always told me it was blurry when they watched my dreams, wait you said that you can control all four elements, right?" She replied.

"Yea, earth, fire, water, and air," I answered.

"What about the fifth element, spirit?" I looked at her, I've never heard of that element, or even knew it existed. But maybe she was right, I feel spirits or people talking in my head sometimes. And not its not me talking to myself, cause it's not my voice, or even my thoughts.

"I don't know," I told her, "um...is that possible? To control the fifth element, I'm guessing it's rare, cause I have never head of a spirit user."
