Sky's POV
Today is my 16th birthday and Adam's 20th Birthday. I am walking home from school today because i didn't want to take the bus. I got home. "I'M HOME" I yelled. No one responded. "Mom? Adam? Hello" I said. I walked upstairs to my moms room and she wasnt there so i went to Adam's room and he wasn't there but i found a note. It read"
Dear Sky,
I have left for Seattle. I'm sorry for not waiting till you got home or at least getting you early from school. Mom is driving me to the airport so that's why she's not there. I am so so so sorry. I promise to call, text, and facetime you everyday. I will be back to visit soon. Happy Birthday Sky

I finished reading the note and i cried. I heard the front door open so i ran down hoping this was all a prank. My mom walked in. "He really left" I said. She nodded. I ran to her and started crying even more. She brought me to the couch and sat me down. "Here. Open this" She said as she handed me a small box. I looked at the box for a moment. She gave me the card so i read that first. It's from Adam.
Dear Sky,
Okay. So i know you're probably really upset and mad at me because i left on our birthday. But i got you this yesterday. Hope you like it.

I opened the box and it was a necklace with a budder ingot charm on it. Adam and i have always called the minecraft 'gold' ingots budder. I cried so hard. That night i cried to sleep.
