The weather was warm and the sun was glowing. Her blue dress flew around uncontrollably in the mild breeze, she looked beautifully magical. Her bright blue eyes shimmered, reflecting the sun. Her long brown, curly hair fell effortlessly passed her brown shoulders. She was tall with long legs, golden from the sun.
She was happy, not a worry in the world. Everything was fine, but nothing lasts forever...does it? What happened to her golden brown skin that is not paper white? What happened to her perfect curly hair that is now messy with tangles? What happened to that beautiful blue dress that is now dull with colour, ripped and stained, barley covering her weeping body?
Her eyes still bright blue, wide. But wide with anger? Fear? Not wonder and happiness. They reflect sharply into the fearless night against the moon, that calls her, wanting to take her away. But she doesn't let the moon, instead she turns from the window, limps to the corner of the shadowed room and with her pale lips, she blows out the burning candle.
Left in the darkness.
