Chapter 1-
"MOMMYYYYYYYY!" Hope screamed from her room. I sighed and got up from reading The Fault In Our Stars and went upstairs to my 2 and a half year old daughter's room. "What's the matter baby girl?" I asked, taking Hope out of her crib and kissing her soft cheek. "I hungy" she whined. I laughed. "Okay. Lets go get you a snack" I said, carrying her down the stairs and setting her in her high chair. "Lets see... What do you want baby girl?" I asked. "Pwineapple" she giggled. "You mean PINEapple" I said. "Pwineapple" she laughed. "Okay, hope. Say pine" I smiled. I was trying to strengthen her vocabulary. "P-pine" she stuttered. "Good girl!" I smiled, kissing her nose gently. "YAY! Can I have pineapple now?" She asked. SHE SAID IT! "Yes. Good girl!" I congratulated, handing her a bowl of sliced fruit. "Mommy?" She asked, looking up from the assorted fruit. "Yes sweetie?" I responded. "What are these blue things?" She asked, making a sour face, holding up a blueberry. "It's a blueberry. They're good" I nodded, grabbing my book and sitting at the kitchen table. "Okay" she shrugged, popping one into her mouth. She instantly made another sour face. "SOUR!" She giggled. Well they aren't in season... "Do you want mommy to take them out?" I questioned. "No, I like them" she grinned, her amber colored eyes sparkling. She got her eyes from her dad. But I don't talk to him. I know who he is, I just... Don't talk to him because... Well... He's a douche. His name is Brandon Jakobs and he's a jock. A jerk of a jock at that. Cue eye roll. I was deep in thought when Hope banged her head on her high chair. She screamed and I jumped up and grabbed her. "Aw Hope... You okay baby girl?" I kissed her head, taking her upstairs to the bathroom. "It hurts" she complained. "Where does it hurt Hope?" I asked, setting her on the counter. "The back of my head" she whined. "Okay baby girl. I'm going to put an ice pack on it. It'll be cold, but it will make it feel better. I promise" I said, holding an ice pack to her head. Her crying hiccuped to occasional sniffles. "Are you okay now?" I questioned. She nodded. "Can you tell me how many fingers I'm holding up?" I held 2 fingers up. "2" Hope nodded. I breathed a sigh of relief. She didn't have a concussion. Thank god. "Alright baby girl. Wanna go play?" I asked. "No mommy" she shook her head. Ah... Terrible twos.... Oh! I haven't introduced myself! Sorry! I was kinda preoccupied with my lovely, insane little girl. Hi. I'm Brielle. But you can call me Bree or Elle. I am 17 years old. I have a 2 and a half year old. My ex boyfriend is a douche bag, so he is not involved with our daughter's life. I love one direction. I have bright hazel eyes that tend to change colors and waist length wavy copper red hair. I'm really skinny, even after having a child at 15 years old. I still can't believe I have a 2 year old. Anyway, Hope is extremely hyper and fun-loving, just like me. She has copper red hair and bright amber eyes. She's such a loving little girl. I wouldn't trade my life for anything. Hope was the best thing that had ever happened to me. And I know everyone says that about their kids, but its true. She saved me. I was depressed, drinking, doing drugs, cutting, thoughts and attempts at suicide. But when I found out that I was pregnant, all of that stopped. I couldn't hurt my baby. I found out I was pregnant at 5 weeks. So since week 5 of pregnancy, I haven't drank, cut, done drugs, or attempted suicide. I still have suicidal thoughts occasionally, but I always push them away. For Hope. "Okay baby, then what do you want to do?" I smiled at my little girl. "I want you to read Fault In da Stars to me" she smiled. "You mean Fault In Our Stars?" I laughed. "Yeah! I like the stars" she batted her eyelashes. "Okay" I shrugged, picking her up and carrying her to the couch. I knew she wouldn't understand the book yet, but she loved when I read to her. She never cared what it was. I read Hunger Games to her and she laughed the whole time. My child. Cue smile. I grabbed the book and cuddled up with Hope on the couch and started reading.
--About an hour later--
"'Dad: 'you have to understand that Hazel is still sick, Augustus, and will be for the rest of her life. She'll want to keep up with you, but her lungs-' At which point I emerged, silencing him.-'" I was cut off by the doorbell ringing about 10 times in a row. "I'm coming I'm coming. Sheesh" I grumbled, picking Hope up and walking towards the front door. "Mumma, I want you to read more" she whined. "Don't worry Hope, i will read to you after we answer the door okay baby?" I kissed her head. "Okay mumma" she pouted. I chuckled, hoisting Hope higher on my hip as the doorbell rung again. "IM COMING. GOD DA-" I glanced at Hope who was raising her eyebrows expectantly. "God Dangit! Shut up!" I corrected. At this, Hope nodded in approval. She hated when people swore. She's so cute. I pulled the door opened with my free hand. "What do y- oh... Hi..." I said, looking into the prettiest blue eyes I have ever seen. Louis Tomlinson stood on my doorstep.
--Louis's POV--
"Open the door, open the door, open the door" I muttered as I repeatedly rung the door until I heard a girl sigh and say "Im coming I'm coming. Sheesh." I waited. Then I heard footsteps coming to the door and a little girl whining "Mumma, I want you to read more." The girl said "don't worry Hope, I'll read to you after we answer the door okay baby?" And the little girl sighed and said "okay mumma." She sounded about 2. And the mum sounded around 17 or 18. I rung the doorbell again and heard "IM COMING. GOD DA-" and then she corrected herself by saying "god dangit! Shut up" and opening the door. The most beautiful girl I have ever seen stood, looking at the little girl balanced on her hip. She had copper red hair that flowed in waves down to her waist and fair skin that seemed if you touched her, she would bruise. She was really skinny and average height. "What do y- oh.... Hi..." She sighed, turning to look at me. She had bright hazel eyes and the cutest nose ever. I'm weird, I know. But seriously, this girl was hot. "Hi. Um... My car broke down a little ways down the road and roadside assistance is being a di-" the little girl looked at me with raised eyebrows. "Um.. Being a doody head" I corrected myself, looking back at the girl. "Oh, yeah. I hate roadside assistance. Come on in" she invited. "Thanks" I smiled, walking inside. She shut the door and hoisted the little girl higher on her tiny waist. "Oh, sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm-" she cut me off. "I know. You're Louis. I love One Direction" she smiled and blushed. "Ooooh. Mommy has a crushyyyyyy" the little girl sang teasingly. "Hope, shush" she giggled. "Sorry, she has a lack of filter" the girl blushed again. "It's alright, so do I" I laughed, making her laugh again. "I'm Brielle. Brielle Thompson. And this is Hope. Say hi" Brielle said. "Hi. I'm Hope" Hope waved. "Hi. I'm Louis" I waved back. "So how old are you Brielle?" I asked. "I'm 17. And you can call me Bree or Elle" Bree nodded. "And I'm 2 and a haf" Hope smiled. "Yes you are Hope. Now why don't you go play?" Bree smiled, setting Hope down. "But mumma, you said you would read to me" Hope whined. "I will later baby girl. I promise" Elle kissed the top of Hope's head. "Okay mummy" Hope grinned and toddled up the stairs. "Sorry about her, she's a little attention whore" Brielle rolled her eyes. "MOMMY SAID A BAD WORD!" Hope yelled. "SORRY ANGEL" Bree laughed and sat on the couch, picking a book up. "Wow, I'm really rude. Would you like anything to eat/drink Louis?" She blushed, standing up again. "Um... Water will be good" I nodded. "Okay. I'll be right back" Elle smiled, walking into the kitchen and coming back out a minute later with a glass of water. "Here" she tucked her hair behind her ear. "Thanks" I said, taking a sip. "No problem. So, why didn't you have one of your bandmates pick you up?" She questioned. "I did, they're busy" I rolled my eyes. "Oh. Well luckily, I'm always home with that little brat" she said jokingly. "Just kidding, she's a sweetie. And I love her to pieces. But it's hard being a teen mom" Elle nodded. "Yeah. I bet" I agreed. "I didn't mean for it to happen... It just did... Y'know?" She shook her head. "Yeah..." I agreed. Soon enough, we locked eyes and before we knew it, we were locking lips. Wow...
