I walk through the cafeteria doors with Robyn and immediately our presence catches the attention of everyone.
"Yooo Nic" This one boy I know says while high fiving me
"Jay" I smile
"Just stay calm and block out everybody's heartbeat" Robyn says
I nod my head and take a deep breath, all day I've been deprived of blood, I haven't had any in damn near a month. I can just hear everybody's heartbeat like a surround sound in my head and smell all their blood. Ugh get it together Nicki.
"You sure you can be around Ciara?" She asks
"Yea I'll be fine promise" I sigh
We approach the table and I sit next to Ciara, immediately wrapping my arm around her and kissing her cheek.
"Hey" I say
"Hey" She smiles
One of my ongoing flings walk up and sits next to me.
"Hey Nic" She smirks
"Hey wassup?" I ask
She leans in and starts whispering into my ear, little does she know everybody except Ciara can still hear her.
"My parents are gonna be gone for the night, you need to come over and remind me of all the things your tongue can do and how you know just how to make me cum long and hard back to back" She says
She leans back and I stare at her while biting my lip and eyes full of lust.

She smirks and walks off. I look to the blood suckers with a cocky grin but it immediately fades when I see them looking at me like:

They dart their eyes towards Ciara and I freeze before slowly turning towards her. She glares at me, practically sending daggers into me with her eyes.
She scoffs before getting up and walking away, I run after her a lil too fast and grabbed her arm as soon as we get in the hallway.
"What I do?" I ask
"Don't act stupid Onika" She says
"I'm not acting" I say
"You have your little hoes and shit, blah blah blah whatever, but if we're having a conversation I be damned if some fast ass girl just comes up and you suddenly don't remember you were talking to me already" She says
"Sounds like someone's jealous" I smile
"A jealous friend? Yes, if that was your girl then whatever no big deal but it wasn't and you acted as if I was just somebody" She says
"She gathering your ass" I hear Trey laugh
"Tremaine shut the hell up" I say
"All I'm saying is that was rude as fuck especially to me" She says
"I hear you and you're right" I say
I walk closer to her and wrap my arms around her waist.
"If you want I can hang with you for a while instead" I say
"Nicki you sure that's a good idea" Trey says very quietly so Ci wouldn't hear him
"Yea" I say very very quietly
"You sure you don't wanna see miss fast in the ass?" She asks
"Positive, I'd pick you any day babygirl" I say while kissing the side of her mouth
"Ugh Date already" Beyoncé yells
"Don't get too comfortable Onika" She warns
"Sorry, it's hard resisting your plump lips" I say
"Whatever" She says
She walks back into Cafeteria with Bey and Robyn, I try to follow suit but Trey and Chris pull me back.
"You sure about this?" Chris asks
"Yes, y'all think I can't control myself?" I ask offended
"That's not what we're saying" Trey says
"Nicki, Ciara's not just somebody, she's our friend, remember that if it gets too strong, don't hurt her Nicki and set yourself up" Chris says
"I understand, I'll leave if I have to" I sigh
The rest of the day flies by and I've been with Ciara since school ended. I've managed to keep everything under control but as time goes by it gets stronger and stronger. We're on her bed watching a movie and my head is on her shoulder, talk about contemplation. I get a strong smell of her blood and I sigh, damn it smell so fucking good. Without thinking, my fangs extend and my eyes widen. Thank God she can't see me. I quickly curtail them and clear my throat.
"I'll be back" I say while getting up
I go into the bathroom connected to her room and look at myself in the mirror. Fangs sharp and on full display, eyes starting to glow, breathing getting heavier and heavier.
"Onika pull it the fuck together" I mumble
I get everything under control and walk out, this time Ci is laying on her back and as soon as she sees me she opens up her arms, this is gonna be difficult as fuck. I crawl onto the bed and lay my head between her neck and chest. The sound of her heartbeat drives me insane and I abruptly sit up.
"Uh I gotta go" I say
"Why?" She asks
"My mom needs to talk to me about something important" I say
"Ok, text me when you can" She says
She walks with me to the door and gives me a hug.
"See you tomorrow" She says
"See you" I say
I give her a kiss on the forehead and start power walking away, I wait until I know she can't see me before full on running towards the woods. I hear footsteps and I smile to myself. Anybody walking through the woods this late is a fool. As soon as the person gets close enough I grab them by the throat and slam them against the tree. I watch the guy struggle to get out my grip and I chuckle while tilting his head, exposing his neck.
"Sad case" I smirk
I pick up the sound of his heartbeat, beating rapid, pumping out tons of blood. I grab his jaw and sink my fangs into his neck.
