Chapter III

Minister Tremblay wakes up, with a huge headache. He is in another world and everything feels as dream, a bad one, a night mirror. At the least, the feeling, he has, is one of fear and discouragement, already, just by the look of the people that took him, is not reassuring at all.

What happen for crying out loud, slowly the memories come back, her remember calling his wife and checking his office, then a sentiment of not being alone, before he could lock the office door, everything went dark.

Now where he is, does not look so good. It's old, cold and damp. He is in a dirty bed and clothes, with no bathroom, no water, no food.

''Is this situation is because of what he did wrong , can this be related? He is asking himself.

''No way, this was so secretive'' He concludes.

He felt that all of his life, all what he see and live, is a normal life, the secure world at least his little world, with his family, friends, his job and colleagues, is over for good. He is afraid to die, mostly because he would loose them all, he is aware that he is being torture, with all the beatings, he is aware that it will go on and on. He thinks about suicide, that is hard to do, being checked at anytime, and lack of objects to do it. None of the less he still evaluate the possibility, doing it.

Then an idea emerged to him, they only hope to do it is trying to take a Vile of something that would work in killing himself, it's also very difficult to do. But he would die in peace without suffering, in peace, decently.

''Then again, what about his family? He can't die in peace, thinking about them, not fighting for them. He takes a decision, he will stay alive for them, no matter what they do to him, it is what a person has to do to fight to the end. People have bee saved from Auschwitz and other camps, in the second world war, it was a miracle, after all that time they suffered. They lived their life in doing good things for other people. I will live" He think.

He is afraid but in a kind of peace, in this decision made. He realise that is situation is very serious and frightening, a very strong feeling of being in danger is swirling around and inside of him. He does not like the feeling: still panics comes over him.

He wish so hard that he was in his home, that is it just a misunderstanding, that they don't really want him there, but if it is so, he hopes it will be about information regarding his ministry, he knows there is a lack of money, there, but it's also in other ministry. Is he the only one abducted?

He definitely thinks so. He also know for a fact that it as just begun, it will be a painful event, paying for what he did wrong.

Then he hears a click from the door. Two men are coming in.

"So did you sleep well? Not use to that kind of environment, do you? You will have to get use to this, it could be a long time before you leave, unless you help us. Not only the two of us, all the Quebec's people.
