Get Away

Chapter 1

                Mya was the school's biggest geek. She even dressed like one. She would wear her hair in pigtails and she would wear overalls with rainbow socks. No one liked her not even the nerds liked her. Mya didn't know why, she has always kept it to herself. She was currently sitting in the girls bathroom. She had ran in there after Aaliyah made her run into a trash can. Aaliyah was the school's most popular girl and the meanest girl at school. Music was the only escape she had from the real world. The only way she could get away so she put in her earbuds and turned on Narcissistic Cannibal. As she listened to the the song she thought about what Inner Mya would do. Inner Mya was the opposite of Mya. She was Brave and Beautiful. Inner Mya wore black ripped skinny jeans, baggy band shirts with flannels, black suede chunky heel Ankle boots with lace or Vans, beaded and leather spiked bracelets. She wore her hair down with snapbacks or beanies and did her makeup with smokey eyes and dark lips. She also had a piercing on her right nose, a tattoo of a dead rose blooming into a vibrant red rose on her forearm, and a tattoo of the word " WARR;OR" on her left wrist ( which Mya also had) Inner Mya also didn't care what people thought of her. Mya could only wish to not care like that. Inner Mya wouldn't have cowered into the bathroom. As she thought of what Inner Mya would do she dozed off into a daydream.

                  Everything was blurry but Inner Mya knew where she was. As she got out of the trash can she felt a flash of anger and bravery. She was standing in front of a crowd of people who were all laughing at her. She pushed through the crowd to find Aaliyah and her band of followers crying from laughing so hard. " What are you laughing at" she said "You think this is funny." She turned to look at the crowed."You all think this funny!" she proclaimed. At that moment, watching the crowed laughing she made her decision. She turned back to Aaliyah and announced so all can hear " You want something to laugh at I will give you something to laugh at". She grabbed Aaliyah's hair and watched shock sink in to Aaliyah's eyes as Inner Mya socked her square in the face. Everyone went silent as they heard Aaliyah's cries of pain. Watching Aaliyah squirm made Inner Mya grin and laugh. Finally after a while Inner Mya let go of Aaliyahs' hair. Aaliyah quickly straightened up and said loud enough so all can hear " You'll regret ever having touched me!" Inner Mya went up to Aaliyah's ear and whispered " It was worth it". As Inner Mya walked away she heard a very distinct ring and realized it was her phone ringing. As Mya shook off the daydream she answered the phone.

"Hello" Mya answered.

"Where are you Mya" her mom said in a worried tone.

"What do you mean. I'm at school."

"Why? School ended fifteen minutes ago"

"What?" surprised she checked her phone and like Myas mom said it was fifteen minutes past 3:00 p.m. She had been in the girls bathroom for over an hour and fifteen minutes.

Feeling suddenly rushed Mya told her mom she was going to be right there and rushed to her mom's car. When she got in the car she said her hello and stayed quiet as usual. Her mom was a tall, beautiful women. She always wore dresses and heels with her hair down and her makeup done. Mya was utterly jealous of her mom because she made Mya feel even more ugly than she already felt like. That's why she liked Inner Mya because Inner Mya was a total BABE (which Mya was not). Out of nowhere Mya heard her mom mumble something.

"What did you say, mom?" Mya said feeling stupid.

"Oh, It's nothing" her mom pondered.

" Mom! Really, what is it"

"Well I was wondering why you never talk to me about anything"

"What do you mean?" Mya said questionably.

"Well I found a razor in your room with blood on it and I was wondering why you didn't tell me about it." her mom said in a rush.

The fact that her mom went into her room made her angry. Luckily before Mya had to say something. They arrived at her house and Mya ran through the door and up the stairs. Before she slammed the door to her room she heard her mom yell "I'm Sorry" from the stairs. Mya locked her bedroom door and laid on her bed. Her mom started to knock on the door so Mya put her earbuds in and turned on Freak on a Leash by Korn. As she went into another daydream she thought about what Inner Mya would've said to her mom.......
