Come on, i NEED to get this deer. even when it's a doe with a fawn. If i don't i will starve. I can't risk it yet, the one pack i have been tracking, for moons now, need to pass by first before i make the kill.

The shadow wolf lurks in the depths of the trees, still keeping the pack and his prey in sight. He slowly picks up the pace once the mother smells the ever advancing pack. She herds her young into the forest, right next to the shadow wolf. He smells the meat, it's calling to him. It drives his hunger out of control and he quickly kills the fawn, and drags it off as the pack kills the mother doe.

"I smell a rouge wolf, my alpha." a member reports, and adds "it killed the fawn."

"I smell it too, thank you for reporting it to me, Glade." the alpha replies.

"Yes, Chain." Glade replies.

He gives a curt nod, and they drag their prize away. The shadow wolf digs into the fawn after thanking the moon that they did not catch him, and that he was given the chance of the fawn, preferring the mother. But he took all the little he could to survive here in the treacherous woods.

"That was close, but i took the risk, i needed it." the shadow wolf says to himself aloud.

He stretches out in the moonlight. As he does, his muscles ripple under his midnight black fur, and his gold and amber eyes sparkle. I have out smarted many wolves, but im surprised this pack let it slide, i am in their territory after all. the perks of being a rouge is amazing, but horrible at times as well. he gets up and shakes the dirt from his coat. He wags his tail slightly at the smell of a she-wolf passing by. He peeks out to see the alpha's daughter, Glade, walking about. He is mesmerized by her cream coat and her ice blue eyes. It's captivating and somehow brings comfort and ease to the shadow wolf. I want to show myself to her, but not yet, especially when she smelt me earlier at the hunt when i stole the fawn for my own survival.

He pads along to see where she is going. Her nose was twitching as if she where tracking something. Does she smell me? She is heading to the waterfall that i lay and relax at. As he finishes saying that, he notices Glades hackles are raised and her ears are up, and tail held high.

"Who's there? I smell you, so may as well show yourself. You are the one i smelt at the hunt and stole the fawn we were going to catch along with the doe." Glade growls.
