"I love you. Be safe on tour," I tell Ashley before he gets on the bus.

"Of course. I'll call you every day. And I promise I'll be back before the baby comes. Video chat me at every ultrasound-" Ashley starts.

I cut him off. "Yes babe, of course. I'll keep you in the loop of everything. Promise."

"Good. I gotta go. Be careful, call Andy's mom if you need anything."

"I know. Love you," I say.

"Love you too."

Ashley gets on the bus and I get back into my car, ready to go back to my new house, Ashley's house. It was a last-minute move. I got all my stuff packed. It's actually all still in the boxes. I should really get on that before I suddenly have a nursery to put together.

I get home within five minutes and walk into the house, which is scattered with boxes. I bring a box labeled Clothes into the bedroom. I put the box on the bed and tear the tape with a pocket knife. I open the top drawer of my dresser and begin putting shirts in. Once the box is empty, I slowly find the will to get another. My phone vibrates. Ashley the screen reads.

"It's been 20 minutes! What is so important?" I ask.

"I miss you," he whines.

"Get used to it. You have seven months to go."

"I wanna come home already!"

"You can't. You have to do your job. You always say you're living the dream, so go live it!" I yell at him.

"Stop yelling. What's wrong?" he asks calmly.

"Just stressed out from unpacking," I admit.

"That's fair. How far along are you?"

"One box," I admit.

"Oh honey, you got a lot to go," he laughs.

"I'm aware of that."

"You better go. I'll talk to you later," he says.

"Bye," I say, hanging up the phone. I sit on the bed for a moment. Then, I get up and get another box, ready to do it over again.

1 hour later

All of the boxes are unpacked, and all of my stuff is put away. It's quiet without Ashley. I'm lonely. I can't believe I'm two months pregnant. I have seven months to go.

I sit on the bed with my computer and I open Skype. I decide to call CC.

"You bored?" he laughs as he answers.

"Yea. I want to talk to you," I admit.

"Why me?"

"You always know how to make me laugh. I'm lonely and sad that all of you guys are gone."

"Okay. Well I don't know how to intentionally make you laugh, so I'll just sit here and talk to you. Sound good?" he suggests.

"Okay," I say.

"ALEX?" I hear Ashley in the background.

"Hi baby," I wave. "I miss you."

"I know you do," Ashley comes to the camera. "I'll be home before you know it."

"Okay. I just want it to come faster. The baby misses you too. I can feel it," I smile.

"Aww. I still think it's a boy," he smirks.

"We don't know yet!" I yell at him.

"Are you two done?" CC asks, hoping to get his laptop back.

"Yes. Bye Ashley. I love you," I say.

"Love you too," he says, waving goodbye.

"You still wanna talk?" CC asks.

"Sure," I say. "Start a conversation."

"What sort of names do you have for the baby?" he asks.

"For boys we have: Noah, Mason, and Ethan. For girls we have: Sophia, Madelyn, Hannah, and Hailey. Girls names are apparently easier to find," I say.

"I guess so," he chuckles. "What's your favorite so far?"

"My favorite is Noah. Don't tell Ashley, but I think it's gonna be a boy, too," I admit honestly.

"My lips are sealed," he says.

"Well, I'm gonna go do something else. Have fun on tour. What's your first stop?"

"Sacramento. Five hours away, starts tomorrow. Then we go to San Francisco."

"Sounds fun," I say, an idea planting in my mind. "Can I meet you somewhere and then join you on tour? I'll go crazy being here alone for months."

"Get the nursery set up, and then we can set something up, just between you and me," he says.

"Sweet. I'm gonna go do that now and I'll try to be with you guys by next week. Bye," I say quickly.

"Okay, bye!" CC waves and we hang up the call. I put on some Converse and get ready to go to the furniture store.

I practically jog to my car and take off to the store. I walk over to the baby section, and look at cribs, black, white, brown, tan, all the neutrals. Of course I go for a black one. I pick out black and white sheets to go with it. I decide the theme is going to be black and white, just because that way it goes with the house and it's not really gender specific.

The total ends up being about $2,000. I picked out a crib, a chair, decorations, rugs, sheets, curtains, baby stuff for the floor, everything. A store associate has to help me load everything into the car. Everything just barely fits. Luckily, it's a big car. I drive back to my house, no longer just Ashley's, and begin slowly loading everything into the nursery. Tomorrow, I will begin setting everything up and going to buy more baby stuff.

After that, I'm going on tour.
