( PROLOGUE )
I'm Delilah and I have a music book, That I want to fill with pages and pages of songs...
But in reality I'm Sitting here with a blank page staring back at me, And I can't even think about one word that is inspiring- Or even good!
I want my music to fit together like puzzle pieces , inspire people! Sell millions of copies
Sell out Arenas but no there's nothing here but me and a blank
page...
Life's hard when your 17 and you've only got a single parent working full time! That single parent is my mum, Mum and dad split up when I was only a baby so I don't remember it nor do I remember him... He was a bad man, Or so I've heard He would get drunk then hook up with young ladies while mum was at home with me... Looking after me.
I hardly ever see her anymore as she's always at work and then when she comes home she does a little bit more tidying up then goes to bed...
I try to help out as much as possible, but she says she doesn't need help... She has a habit of pushing me away when I try to help her but I think she feels bad... For everything....
Even though it's just us...
Sometimes I feel like I have
Some sort of hope, hope that my future will be brighter and things will work out!
