First impressions

Jacks POV

Moving to la was a bitch, I had to say goodbye to everyone I love, even my mum. It was heartbreaking but it needed to be done. My dad hated me, he would always tell me to shut up when I practice my music or singing, that is why I haven't sung for 1 year. I understood why my mum divorced him but I didn't understand that I had to go with him, my ma was gone anyway, thanks to that car it just means for beatings for me. Yay ( not ) .

Ma said that i will have better opportunities in L.A, not only having an invitation to join the biggest choir in America. I don't know how the fuck they found me but winners can't be choosers , even though I am the biggest loser in the entire planet.

It is 2:00pm and my lazy shit stain of a father is still asleep, so I decided to creep out before he awakes so I can go to my first day of choir practice, don't get me wrong, I was super excited to be singing with the top of the top people but I just didn't want to arrive with a big bruise on the Side of my face.

When I arrived, I was welcomed by the choir teacher, he had short brown hair and brown eyes and he looked about the same age as me ( or a bit higher ) " hello Sean ! My name is Matthew but you can call me matpat , I heard a lot about you ! " he said with glee to his voice, " hello, and its jack, I really don't want to be called Sean" I said in the kindest way possible. He smiles and welcomes me in and opened the door to an half empty small room filled with instruments and 10 chairs all occupied except from one in the middle which I presume is for me, " welcome to halk-east choir, only the best voices can join !" Said one boy looking up to me, matpat gave him a strange look which I couldn't figure out " come on Felix calm yourself, I know you are excited to meet Sean but still " he said to the boy presuming to be Felix, I still cringed at my real name and i gave a look to mat pat and he got the legits and decide the introduce me to the rest of the people
" everyone this is Sean our new singer, but he likes the be called... jack ?" He looked at me and I fave him a short nod " ok jack, my name is Felix and this is my girlfriend Marzia" Felix said signaling to a short, tanned girl next to him, she smiled at me " Hi " short but sweet, next was another girl with blond-ish hair and very pointy eye-liner with cactus necklace around her neck "hello, my name signe, it is a pleasure to meet you " she said, it seemed like she was happy all the time. I wish I could always be that optimistic, it is hard you know, with having a shitty childhood and a shitty father, how am I supposed to stay optimistic.

Next to her was another girl with bright blonde hair which was naturally waving , she gave me a semi-smile, " oh great another boy, like we do not have enough of those already, you can call me Amy" she said and I gave her a short smile. I didn't wasn't to interact with her to much and I am sure she didn't want me to either.

Next up was a very bearish looking man with a huge grin on his face, I guess he was waiting for a long time to introduce himself. " hello, my name is Kennnn, I am soooo excited to meeet you " he said bouncing up and down in his chair, he was a very anesthetic guy so i wasn't going to kill his vibe on meeting me " nice to meet you Ken" I said giving my hand to him. He grabbed it and shook it vigorously. When I let go I felt dizzy but happy at the same time.

Next was I guy who I really didn't know what he was thinking. He wore a mask covering 3/4 of his face, the only visible thing was his mouth and it was not even smiling, however, when he realized it was his turn, he forced a smile and spiky in a really calm voice. " sup, my name is cry" he Said, I wasn't going to question what was going on with the mask so I having him a wave and a smile. I wanted to get through the people as much as I could and I was only half way through. Next up was a skinny man who looks like has taken 5 cups of coffee, rough. " my name is wade, that is basically it" he said, he wasn't trying to be rude, he just had nothing else to say so I gave him a smile and he smiled back. Next was a big and tall man, he looked like he knew everything, a brainy kind of guy. " hello there my name is bob and i hope that you find everything at your liking" he was acting like a butler , which I found weird but I gave him a response " I really am , this is an amazing place, I am so lucky to be here, thank you" I said, it was true, I am absolutely honored to be here and I would change it for the world.

Then last but not least, the man who was staring at me the whole time, he feltll dark raven hair and brown chocolatey eyes which was amazing , he started at me with an awe expression on his face, he finally spoke after 10 seconds of pure staring, " h-Hi my name is mark" he said, stuttering at first until I heard Felix's voice again from the other side of the room. " ooohhhhhh that is the first time markimoo is speechless, Jack mind out the way " he shouted , his voice over exaggerating each word. Mark started to blush uncontrollably and look down, I decided not to question and sit in the only place available between Felix and minx, something was strange about that mark guy but there was something about him that made me feel , safe and calm , i just needed to wait and see, he maybe a really nice guy.
