"Infact, I don't know how will I tell her and I don't think she's ready for that."
"Maybe and I think she's not interested in that but don't give up Drake. I'm pretty sure that one day, she'll be able to feel the same way for you."
"I hope so. Uhm, by the way, do you know or do you have a friend that aborted her child?"
"Why?" My mom asked, curiously.
"I'm helping a friend."
"Do you have a friend now?"
"Nevermind."
"Just kidding Drake, I do know one."
"Really? Who?"
"Do you remember Cassandra, my friend?"
"You mean Thia's mother?"
"Ssh. Yes. Thia doesn't know about it."
"We were in college when she got pregnant and of course Cassandra's parents will surely kill her for being pregnant so she aborted her child.
"So whose decision is that?"
"Cassandra. I tried to stop her but she won't listen and its too late."
"Sigh. I never thought of that."
"Me neither."
"Thank you for the info mom. I gotta go."
"Where on earth will you be going again?"
"I will meet Margaux at three."
"Okay. Take care."
I was about to walk in our rendezvous when someone called my name.
"DRAKE!"
"Thia?"
"Drake," then she hugged me and starts to cry.
"What happened?"
"Tyro dumped me."
"WHAT?," and I faced her.
"What did that man did to you?"
"He said . . .," she managed to say in between her sobs, " . . . I'm the only girl in his life but he betrayed me and his promises are always made to be broken."
"Where is he?"
"Don't Drake. Let karma handle him."
"He must pay for this."
"I know. I know. Thanks Drake for always being here for me."
"Always," and I hugged her tight.
Poor Thia! If I saw that guy I'm gonna bury him alive.
"Gotta go now! Oops, and don't tell mom about this. Ok?"
"Okay," and she smiled like the usual Thia.
Thia is positive girl eversince we're in childhood. I know she can manage well her situation right now.
When I turned back, I was surprised on what I saw -- Margaux, she's running away from me.
"Margaux!" I yelled but she kept making distances away from me.
Finally, I reached her hand.
"Hey," then she faced me.
"Why are you in tears?"
"Nothing," the she wiped her tears.
"Tell me. What happened?"
"I said nothing!"
"I know there's something."
"And you don't need to find it out. Goodbye Drake!," and after several seconds she disappeared in my sight.
I really don't understand why she acted like that. Is she having a bad time? Or I have done something wrong?
I must find her.
