We pulled into the driveway of our new house. I can't lie, it was beautiful and much larger than our old house. I couldn't wait to get out and explore. As soon as my dad cut the engine, I leaped out of my seat and grabbed the keys out of my moms hands and she gasped.

"Someone's excited" she said sarcastically.

I unlocked the door and slowly opened the door. It was massive. The smell of  fresh paint hit me as I walked in.

"I'm not your slave. Come and get your bags!" I heard my brother Harry yell.

I ignored him and walked around the house. I rushed to the back of the house and I screamed.

"WE HAVE A POOL" I yelled

"No way" exclaimed my brother as he rushed towards me

We ran out back and jumped and yelled in happiness. I could get to used this house.

My dad and mom walked behind us and hugged each other and watched us happy dance. I could tell they were relieved that we liked the house.

"Glad you kids like it" said my dad

"Like it? I LOVE IT!" I yelled running up to them and jumping on them

I then rushed past them and grabbed my bag. I ran up the stairs so I could beat my brother and get the better room.

I walked into the second open room and it looked perfect. It had a queen sized bed and wardrobe and two night stands on each side.

I threw my bags on the floor and flopped onto the bed. I already loved this house.
I'll admit at first I was furious that my dad got his job promotion because I would miss my old house.
Oh you were waiting for me to say my friends. I didn't have much friends back there even though I've lived there my whole life. I haven't had a best friend because there was no one that I really connected with. My mom told me that a time would come were I would find someone and we'd become inseparable. Lame isn't it.

The whole reason why I was scared was because I wasn't ready to meet new people. What if they were the same as the people back home? What if they hated me here and found me weird and I'd be know as the weirdo. I didn't have to worry about that for now because we moved here in the summer holiday and school is in 2 months.

I got off my bed and looked out of my window to see that I had a good view of the pool. I saw my brother Shawn jump in the pool and then come up for air.

I began to unpack my stuff and listen to a bit of music while I was at it. After about  2 hours, my mom called to tell me dinner was here. It was the first night so we were having pizza, my favourite.

After eating we all went to our separate rooms and I went back to sorting out mine. Then I went on my phone and scrolled through Instagram.

I yawned and checked the time to see it was already 1 am. Damn time flies.
I quickly did my night routine and got into my pjs. I closed my eyes and drifted into a deep sleep .

*THREE HOURS LATER*

I awoke to the sound of something shuffling. I jolted up and turned to my lamp that was on my night stand. I couldn't find the switch and my hands touching every inch of it. I glanced back while I was struggling. I saw a black figure and it almost looked like a man. I gasped and grabbed my phone instead and put on the flashlight. Light illuminated the room, but the man was no where to be found. Instead it was my hanger with my coat on it.

Silly me.

My hands were shaking as a held my phone tightly and so I decided to just go back and explore social media. Eventually I couldn't keep my eyes open, but this time I held my phone closely to my chest.
