   Prologue

HIS POV

Every night I hear her screams, her shouts that bounce off the community walls. Every night the door slams shut, and footsteps echo into the cold winter air. Every night sobs escape her trembing insolence, as tears leave to freely flow. Every night her dignity shatteres little by little, and every night she disaperes into the dark only to return even more unsolitified. Every night my mind rushes with curiosity.

I dont know where she goes at night, its a question that seems improbable, too far to recieve, and past my probability of knowing.

You can make assumptions, but how much of the time are you correct. Its human nature to automatically judge other people. We can tell ourselves as much as we want to not go there, and restrain ourselves from going to far, but no matter what, we still do it. Including myself.

Every morning since the day since ove moves here, I see her. Walking, alone. In class, alone. She walks up the steps of her apartment head down low and possecions held clutching to her chest.

She seems scared, of nothing in peticular. The previous night still replaying in her head, and her eyes focused on nothing but the ground in front of her. Her steps small and uneasy, like shes waiting for someone or something to take her away, into the dark.

Its like she has no one, no one to lean on, no one to cry on, while she goes through this dark cloud. She needs some one, someone to be held by and tell her everything will be okay. Take her worst fears and demolish them. To simply make her happy. Make her smile. Lift the weight of the world off her shoulders. I cant help myself but not to be that person.
