Emmy’s P.o.v

I stared at him until he was forced to break the silence. He pulled me in for a hug. I breathed in his familiar scent remembering how things used to be. The boy that I loved was now a man.

His dimples popped out of his cheeks at he pulled away.

“Well! Long time no see Mr. famous.” I teased as he handed me an astonishing bouquet of flowers.

“For the Olympic gold medalist.” His smirk was just how I remembered, but his looks seemed different. His hair was no longer a mass of curls that laid on his head, it was now a sweep of chocolate locks. His muscles where toned… He was simply sexy.

I couldn’t help but laugh at his comment.

“I’m not a medalist yet.” It felt weird talking to him. Both of us, were different people.

He looked at me non-stop almost like he was as shocked as I was. His eyes met mine as he stood there slightly dumbfounded.

He let out a little chuckled pulling me into his arms once again. I wrapped my arms around his back feeling all the emotions flooding back.

“I’ve missed you so much, I’ve been meaning to call and meet up but the tour – “

He began to ramble but I forced him to look at me.

“We both have hectic lives, I understand.”

I couldn’t explain how much love I felt aching in my heart. He placed his large hand on my back moving it downward tracing my spine through my clothes. His mouth was inches from mine. I wanted to feel his love again, but we both moved away quickly as the knock on my door echoed through the apartment.

Harry ran his hand through his hair giving me a slight smile before I went to answer the door. I opened the door to find my mother and sister smiling. They immediately pulled me in for a hug.

“Oh my gosh! You look radiant darling!” My mother said in her thick British accent. She spun me around. I felt amazing; my dreams were staring to come true. I glanced over at Harry as gave Jaylee a hug. His eyes met mine and I couldn’t look away. Both of us had started to fulfill or promises in doing what we love. Nothing could stop us from being together now and Harry knew it too.

“HARRY!” My mother squealed running over to his side.

“Look at you, How are you here with the paparazzi not all over you?” Harry laughed at her comment. I grinned walking back over beside Harry.

“Mom c’mon, He isn’t that famous.” Jaylee said trying to get a rise out of him. Harry put his arm around my shoulders.

“Well, I had to sneak out. But it was worth coming to see my future Olympian best friend.” He bit his bottom lip trying to hold back a grin. I rolled my eyes before punching his stomach.

“Well, I’m glad you are here.” I said hugging my mother and sister again.

“And I’m happy to see you two!” Jaylee said winking at Harry. His eyes widened a little bit.

My mother picked her purse off the table once again before looking slightly distraught.

“We just wanted to stop by real quick, we have to go check into the hotel! But we will be back for dinner.” Her words were quick like always. I could tell she was anxious. I think she wasn’t looking forward to seeing my father. She hasn’t seen him in over five years now. I saw the way her eyes darted, she always got that way when she talked about him.

“Okay, Well be safe…I will see you at six for dinner.” I opened the door for them but Jaylee made sure to get her word in before they left.

“Harry? Are you joining us for dinner?” She raised her eyebrows staring him down.

Harry glanced at me and I nodded.

“Of course I am.” He smiled.

Jaylee grinned as I closed the door.

As I turned around Harry’s figure was inches away from mine. I was up against the door smiling at him.

I placed my hand on his face caressing it. I felt a  knot in my stomach as I spoke.

“I don’t think, I have ever missed someone more than I have missed you.”

Right as I ended my sentence he pressed his lips against mine. My breath hitched in my throat and I kissed him back. He moved his hands down my sides, I ruffled my hands through his hair never wanting to stop. He pulled away for a slight second to catch our breath.

“I never want to leave you again.” He whispered against my lips as we began to kiss once more.
