Criethia is a country full of mythical creatures like dragons, trolls, and fairies. There are certain people who have magic in their blood. They can cast spells that grant anything from healing, or death. There are many elemental magics, but the strongest are the magic of light, and the magic of dark. There cannot be too much of either light or dark. If the balance is upset, tragedy will befall the world. Each element has a god in the form of a dragon. There are twelve elemental dragons. They are: Blaze the fire dragon, Torrent the water dragon, Bloom the plant dragon, Quake the earth dragon, Hurricane the wind dragon, Thunder the lighting dragon, Steele the metal dragon, Caster the shadow dragon, Gem the jewel dragon, Freeze the ice dragon, Hope the light dragon, and Doom the dark dragon.
These dragons have complete power over their respective elements, however their power can be overruled. Those who can overrule the elemental dragons are the three dragons who control space, time, and the affairs of all living things. These dragons are: Arthax the dragon of Space, Vextath the dragon of time, and Zeriph the dragon of ecology.
One dragon, The Overseerer, is all powerful, and sometimes commands the other dragons in the actions they are to take in order to keep the balance between light and dark, but no matter what world you venture to, whether they accept it or not, all answer to the one true God who is in Heaven.
This is the secret of the dragon hierarchy that rules over the mythical world on which Criethia is settled.
