Bad Luck Never Ends

Chapter 3

When I woke up, I found myself in a trunk. A tear slithered down my face as I started to remember what had happened, and how I ended up here; the trunk of my fathers car.

I heard the radio blasting. The song "Stand By Me" by Prince Royce was on. This is was probably my favorite Spanish song and it relaxed me a bit.

When the song ended I heard the car door slam and footsteps getting louder and louder as it got closer.

I hear the familiar voice of my father talking to someone!

"He's not alone.." I thought.

I couldn't really make out what he was saying.

Before I knew it my father opens the trunk. He grabs me by my arm and pulls me out of the car.

When I turn around I see another guy with him. Tall , brown eyes, dark brown hair, and probably about my age. When I study him more I notice that he looks quite familiar to me. As a flashback runs through my mind of when me, Alex, and this guy that seems to be helping my father out with my kidnapping, were on oovoo, I start to remember who this person is. Brandon! My best friends boyfriend...

A smile grows on my fathers and Brandon's face when they notice I was staring at Brandon with confusion.

"Follow me, Abbey." My father demands as he motions with his hand to tell Brandon to grab a hold of me.

As Brandon handcuffs me, he whispers in my ear "Don't do anything stupid. I'm going to help you."

I didn't know weather or not to believe him, so I just chose to believe him. After all, he's my best friends boyfriend, right?

I follow my father into a barn. The barn has everything a house would; three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. My father lead me to a room that has blue walls, a clock a bed, and a mini sofa. It was 9:28 a.m. He throws me in the room without taking off the handcuffs and he locks the door.

I look around getting ready to make this place my new home.. Even though I don't want it to be, clearly.
