-Mister Investigator-

"Thank you so much sir for agreeing to meet up at such short notice," Gray said grabbing a seat. Mark Otto nodded and took a sip of his coffee.

"I do hope you are alright with just coffee," Mark says

"Not at all." He answered and also took a sip at his coffee.

"So what can I help you with sir?" Mark asks.

"I need to know more information about a patient of yours, Tori Thompson."

"Oh, that poor girl. I have known her for quite some time now, I was a good friend of her parents. Tori is such a sweetheart, when she was sent to the mental institution she kept on screaming her parents' names. Though I don't know what triggered her to turn into this killer, I have done my very best to help her and she did. Though I wouldn't blame her if she would turn into something like this."

"Right, from the information I have acquired about her, her parents were killed right in front of her. Isn't that right?" Gray said looking straight at Mark.

"Yes that is correct."

"Well why didn't she get killed as well?"

"The Thompson's house if filled with secret doors, Tori's mother has always loved secret passage ways since she was young. So her husband made a promise that when they will build a house for their family, there will be secret passages there." Gray seemed unconvinced with what he was hearing but listened anyways. "And from the answers I got out from Tori was that her mother immediately hid her in a passage that can only be opened on the outside, but knowing how loving Tori is she didn't leave and stayed looking at the small gap of the passage and witnessed the death of her parents."

"I see and you aren't lying about this are you?" Mark shook his head, finished his coffee then proceeds to stand up.

"If you don't believe me sir, why don't you visit their old house. The person that lives there is John Mack is now living with his family. I am sure he would show you these passages." He then starts walking away. "I hope that was enough Mister Gray."

Mark then left the small coffee shop, leaving Gray with his thought. Thinking if he would see if he was really telling the truth with his unbelievable story. He let out a loud sigh and started heading towards the house where Tori has stayed before.

When he arrived he saw a woman in her early 40's watering the garden. The place seemed to be normal, like there was nothing hidden beneath. Gray left his car and walked towards the woman.

"Excuse me ma'am is this where the Mack residents live?" The woman straightened up and nodded.

"Yes. And what is your purpose here sir..." She asked looking at him.

"Gray Folklore, you may just call me Gray ma'am. I am the new investigator in this place for the suspect Tori Thompson." She cringed at the sound of the name. "This is where she lives before is that right?"

"You are correct Gray, but why would you want to see her home if I may ask."

"I had a little chat with the doctor that was assigned to her at the mental institution. He has told me that this house have secret passageways that can only be opened outside."

"I have heard about that, though I am not so sure if it was true or not. But you may check it out if you would want."

"Of course, I mean if you wouldn't mind miss..?"

"Oh please just call me Cynthia," Cynthia says and proceeds to enter her home, Gray following in suite. "I am so sorry about the mess. The kids are at school and forgot to clean up, and my husband just left for work. So I didn't have any help. "

"It doesn't bother me at all Cynthia, it is alright." She then nods and tells him to sit.

"Would you want anything to drink?"

"No thank you, I've had coffee before going here." She nods once again and sits across from him. "So, do you have any idea where it could be? The passageways I mean."

She shook her head. "Not at all Gray, but from what I have heard the switches to open the passageways are quite similar to those of the renaissance period."

Gray then stands up and look around the house. From what he has knowledge on the renaissance period most of the secret passageways are hidden behind bookshelves or walls. And the only way to open them is to find the switch, most of which are closer to the passage like a book. Remembering the exact spot to where the parents were murdered, he noticed a small space in the staircase. Feeling the wall beside it, when he felt a small lump he pushed it and the staircase started rising, right below it was another set of stairs leading to an underground tunnel, probably leading outside the house. Cynthia covered her mouth in pure shock and amazement.

"You found it Gray!" She exclaimed in happiness.

"So, he wasn't really lying about the passageways." Slowly he started putting back the stairs and looks at Cynthia. "I truly appreciate your help Cynthia. Stay safe always and don't let the kids leave home without any adult supervision."

"Of course," She replied and smiled sweetly.

Gray then left the Mack's residents and started going back to his own apartment, Mark wasn't lying about the house. He then arrived back at his apartment.

"She's always two steps in front of me!" Gray groaned and looked at the board, where all the thing he placed about Tori the murders, the weapons, the places where everything doesn't add up. "What are you truly up to."

What he doesn't know is that someone has been following him since his little conversation with the doctor. Grinning from ear-to-ear, she went down the fire escape and started walking away.

"Gray Folklore, you have been snooping too much. Though it would be useless to ask these kinds of things, I should stop you from gaining more information about my being." Tori giggled crazily and walks back to her cabin, "See you soon Mister Investigator."
