- Chapter 9.

Grrr... this is kind of another, somewhat of a filler chapter! SORRY FOR ALL THESE FILLER/BORING CHAPTERS! D: I'm working up to what I'm trying to get across!
& I'm trying to let y'all know what everyone is thinking! So, yeah! ENJOY! :)

Savannah's POV —

Mike and Vic were over at my place today. Mike came because he wanted to hangout with me, and Vic just tagged along because he had nothing better to do. Mike said that Vic has been rather mopey since Diana is leaving. He's blaming this all on himself.

"So, what are you going to do now? I mean, like, with your relationship with Diana." I ask Vic.

Vic quietly sighs, "I don't know? Just continue my life, and go on as if this really isn't happening."

I just nod my head and left it at that. I knew Vic was really devastated about Diana leaving, hell, I'm completely gutted that my best friend is leaving. Nobody wants her to leave. Our lives will be so bland without her.

"Do you have any good movies to watch?" Mike speaks up.

"Ugh, you can check under there," I point below the TV, "or you could check over there." I say as I point to the movie stand.

Mike and Vic got up and searched for a movie for us to watch. I just sat on the couch, waiting for them to decide on a movie.

"What kind of movies do you like to watch?" Mike asks.

"Are you asking me?" I respond back. Mike just nods his head.

"Hm, I like Horror movies, Comedy, or Action movies. But, you guys decide on whatever, I don't care what we watch." I just smile as Mike.

Him and Vic searched and searched for a movie to watch, and they couldn't decide on anything. That was until Vic pulled a movie out.

"How about this?" Vic asks as he holds the movie Four Brothers in his hand.

"Yeah. I love that movie." I smile and nod at Vic's choice of movie.

Vic handed me the movie so I could put it into the Bose. After I put the movie on, I went to go sit on the recliner until Mike spoke up.

Mike patted the spot next to him on the couch, "Come sit next to me."

I just gave him a confused but did as he said. I sat next to Mike and he put his arm around me. Vic just looked over at us, and he just had this sad look on his face.

"Oh, Vic, if you don't want to see us like this—" Vic cut me off, "No, it's fine. I need to get over it."

I gave Vic a concerned look, "Are you sure?" He just nodded and looked to the TV screen.

Vic's POV —

We were an hour into the movie, and Savannah and Mike were passed out on the couch. God, how I wish that was Diana and I.

I look at the clock on the wall to see that it was only noon. Mike and I came over early because we had nothing to do today. So, we were like, why not come over to Mike's best friend/crush's house and let me be mopey while I look at my brother flirt with the girl he likes and I can't. My girl is leaving to a different state because I'm so stupid!

I continue watching the movie as I brought myself back to reality. As I'm watching the movie, I hear a car door shut from outside. I look outside to see Diana! Then I see her parents. Not good.

I rush over to Mike and Savannah to wake them up.

"Hey, guys wake up. Diana is here!" I try shaking them awake.

Savannah's eyes flash open and she hurries off the couch. Thus, causing Mike to awaken.

"Her parents are here, too. What do I do? I can't let them see me!" I hurriedly say.

Savannah has a questionable look on her face. Looking around and trying to hurry.

"Oh, go sit in my room! I'll tell Diana I left something in there for her, so you guys can talk." Savannah states as she's shoving me into her room.

She walks out of her room and closes the door behind her. I didn't want to be nosy, so I just went and sat on her bed. It wasn't until moments later I could hear Savannah letting Diana and Diana's parents into the house. I just sat there overhearing their conversation.

"Oh my gosh, Diana! Why didn't you tell me you were coming? I would've at least cleaned up a bit." Savannah says.

It was only then that I didn't want to hear Diana's response. It utterly broke my heart as Diana spoke. "Well, it's because I'm leaving today. We're driving out today." There was a small silence.

The silence broke after Savannah spoke a rather quiet, "oh." almost to where I couldn't hear her.

"Um, Diana, I have something in my room for you. Kind of a going away present, I guess." Savannah's words came out like a depressed sigh.

I heard footsteps head towards the door. Then the door opened slowly and I just saw the curls. As it opened more, I saw the beautiful face, along with a beautiful smile.

Diana walked towards me fast and wrapped her arms around me. I did the same back. We just stood there holding each other in silence. Letting each other's last moment of company together sink in. I kissed her on top of her head when I heard a small sniffle.

"No, babe. Don't you cry." I say quietly, choking on my words trying not to cry. A tear ran down Diana's cheek and I hurriedly wiped it away.

Diana slowly spoke, "How can I not cry? I'm going to miss you like crazy!"

I sighed. I was going to miss Diana like crazy as well, but we both had to be strong here.

"Think of it this way, whenever you come back to visit, I'll always be here waiting for you." I smile at Diana and plant a small peck against her lips.

"Why would you wait for me? I'm not all that special."

"You're special in every way possible to me. I'm not going to look for some other girl when you leave. You're the girl I want, and the only one I want. I'm going to he waiting for you. I don't care how hard this is going to be for us; I'm staying with you no matter what." I let out all in one quiet breath.

"Diana, come on! We have to get going!" Diana's mom shouts from the living room.

Diana heavily sighs, "I'm coming!" Then she looks at me and kisses me. It was our last kiss for quite some time. "Thank you, Vic. You're special to me, too. You're the one and only guy I want. I'll message you everyday that I can. Bye." She kissed me on the cheek, then she left the room.

I sat back down on Savannah's bed. I bowed my head down and rubbed my face. A couple tears escaped my eyes. I don't know when I would see Diana again. But, when I do see her again, I'll for damn sure be the happiest guy on earth.
