Yeah, I loved you.
And I thought that you loved me too.

I thought that your lies were promises,
I thought that you were going to be careful with my heart.

But instead, you dropped it.
Instead, you walked away,
Turned your back like nothing even happened between us.

You left like it was no big deal,
Like you never even cared.

And you went straight to her.
You closed the door on me,
The immediately went to her.

You don't care.
You never did.
You never really meant "I love you."

And I know that I need to get over it.
I know that I need to let go.
I know that I need to forget.

But no matter how hard I try,
Something inside of me grasps on to you and doesn't want to let go.

I know I should walk away just like you did,
Pretend that I'm not hurting.

But in the end,
I'm broken.
