A dark night
Lit only by the moon
I feel the night air
Charged with something
Indescribable
This feeling
Of being able to do
Anything
This smile
I cannot erase
From my face
And then,
Bursting from the dark
Color and sparks
Dance before me
A lovely aura
Surpasses the night
A laugh
Surprised and excited
Slips from my lips
And yet
This unexpected sight
Departed just as quickly
As it arrived
Leaving me to wonder
If I had seen it at all
