Jack came in the room and saw his beautiful wife holding their two newborns. He sat in front of her on the bed, "you did good sweetheart. They are beautiful." She tiredly smiled, "I can't believe we have three kids now." Jack kissed her head, "well, that just means we have more to love. May I hold one?" She smiled, "go on and take Brendan, he already ate." Jack carefully lifted the newborn in his arms and cradled the head softly. "Brendan, you are an adorable little boy." He smiled as Brendan opened his tiny eyes to meet Jack's. Brendan cooed as he saw his dad smiling at him and settled into his hoodie. "He really likes you Jack." Jack smiled at his tiny son, "he sure does doesn't he." He carried the baby out to the balcony and sat down, looking up at the beautiful full moon and northern lights, "see those pretty lights Brendan? Those are the northern lights. Every night they change to the most beautiful colors, especially tonight. They must have known you and your sister were coming." Brendan tried focusing his tiny eyes at the lights, he snuggled more into Jack's hoodie as Jack continued talking about the lights and the legends behind them. He and Brendan were instantly inseparable, you never saw Jack without Brendan in his arms.
Every day that passed, Brendan got closer to Jack. Now the twins are a month old and Elsa and Jack took Carter and the twins out to the park. Jack held Brendan while Elsa sat on the grass watching Carter bring back rocks to show Riley. Carter was so excited about rocks, their colors, their shape, it was just so exciting to him. Jack looked down at little Brendan in his arms, "you are going to be like that someday Brendan. Curious, adventurous, excited about everything in the world. I can't wait to see you become like Carter, he is a wonderful kid." Brendan just blinked his light brown eyes at Jack and sucked his thumb. (Btw: Carter has brown hair and brown eyes, while Brendan has blonde hair and brown eyes and Riley has blonde hair and blue eyes.) Jack smiled at his boy, "you can understand me can't you." Brendan smiled and cooed. Carter just kept bringing different rocks to show his baby sister, Elsa smiled at her son as he kept looking for different rocks. "Mama look at this one!" He happily cried. Elsa leaned over and saw a smooth light blue stone next to his foot in the shallow water. "Pick it up sweetheart. Bring it here so I can see." Carter bent down and picked up the rock, cleaning the mud off of it before going over to Elsa. She smiled as he handed her the beautiful blue stone, "its beautiful Carter." He smiled and closed her fingers around it, "mama keep it." She smiled, "aww thank you baby." After a while they all headed back to the castle, Elsa had a few meetings to attend with trade partners. As the trade partners filled her study, she smiled, "alright everyone, let me see what you have." A woman stood, "well, we would like to just congratulate you. We heard about the twins' births and wanted to see if you all were okay." Elsa smiled, "thank you, we are all fine. Would you like to see them?" Everyone smiled, "of course." Elsa walked out and came back with Riley, while Jack walked in with Brendan. "Here they are, princess Riley and prince Brendan." The woman smiled, "they are getting so big." Elsa playfully bounced Riley and she giggled, "they sure are." "Are you planning on having more?" Elsa smiled and looked at Jack, "well, we might have one more. But not for a while." He smiled, "I respect that dear." The lady smiled, "well, when you are ready, you will know." Soon everyone left and Elsa and Jack laid on their bed with Riley and Brendan between them. Carter was on the floor playing with his toys quietly.
A couple months pass and Carter turns 4. The twins are three months old now and learning to roll over and lift their heads. "Aw, keep trying Brendan." Jack smiled at his little boy. Brendan soon was able to lift his head and look around. "There you go buddy, you did it." Elsa smiled as she held Riley, "they are getting big aren't they?" Jack chuckled, "yeah, a little too fast for my liking." She smiled, "well, we could always have another one." Jack's eyes widened, "are you serious?" She smiled, "yes. I think I'm ready for another baby." Jack was unsure, "are you really serious about this? I mean-" She smiled and held his hand, "I want another baby with you." They kissed, headed to their room, and locked the door.
