Language, a vital instrument by which people worldwide use for basic communication and cultural diversity, is used to mainly communicate with one another, express cultural identity, convey social relationships, and to provide a source of delight. It has also pioneered myriad interracial relationships and historical milestones.

Language might be diverse yet significant in documenting what it truly means to be a part of the groups existing nowadays. Our capacity to interact with each other relies wholly on the powerful medium of language.

Because of rapid globalization, it followed with the destruction of groups, so too some languages dwindle in speakers and become neglected. Several factors contribute to this namely, ethnic subjugation and strife, and social force to make the language become moribund. Regardless, the pursuit of the preservation of linguistic diversity is not by any stretch of the imagination a bad idea, as it helps restore not only a dying language, but fortifies communities based on the identity associated.

We, humans, possess apparent differences – masculine and feminine, wealthy and needy, light and dark skin, cultural and international understanding. Yet, there is one profound and global constant which shapes our values and perspective: Linguistics, a very crucial aspect that helps unify all kinds of people, acknowledges different cultures, and signifies a brighter and stronger foundation of communication.

We must learn to value each language and see the beauty embedded within it. Each language has its own beauty and function for it reflects a specific culture, tradition, and belief. Each has its own way of seeing the world. Each is the product of its own history. Each is the road map of one's culture. Each has their individual identity and value, and all are equally adequate as modes of expression. Therefore, a language isn't precisely about being able to speak a specific language but, it is with the capability to influence, inspire, and empower people with developing sensitivity.

Linguistic diversity is not an impediment but an encouragement for us to respect and appreciate every language regardless linguistic diversity.

It is our honor and responsibility to go beyond limits, cross the boundaries, and empower each language, be it foreign, be it local. Let us all transfigure the foundation of linguistics by expanding our horizons, tolerating differences, and valuing linguistic diversity.
