Jack's POV
"Can't catch me!"
I sprinted after her, laughing carelessly as I did. It didn't matter that she was a princess and I was a commoner; we had become the best of friends. I saw her stop running and freeze on the spot, instantly making me nervous. I took a small step towards her. "Elsa? Is everything ok?"
She quickly spun around and replied, "Of course! Why would you think I wasn't?" She quickly took off running again, creating small snow mounds as she ran. I couldn't help but smile at her power, remembering I was the only person, besides her sister, who know about her snow powers. She had been born with them and they had been growing stronger ever since, occasionally making her worry for my safety. Eventually, we reached the castle and said our goodbyes, waving at the small princess smiling eagerly at me through her bedroom window. Anna. Elsa slowly shut the door behind her and I turned and went home.
Elsa's POV
"So..."
"What?" I asked Anna, trying to resist the massive smiled attempting to sneak its way onto my face. being with Jack always made me happy, despite it wasn't meant to happen. He was what my parents like to call a 'commoner' and that it was 'unacceptable for the princess to play with the common children'.
Anna quickly snapped me out of my thoughts by saying "You and Jack, huh?"
"What do you mean, me and Jack?"
She shook her head and walked off, laughing to herself. I chuckled quietly and entered our room, quickly changing into my pyjamas and going to bed.
----------
"Elsa."
I rolled over, pretending I couldn't hear her.
"Elsa!"
"Anna," I groaned, "Go back to bed!"
"I cant!" She laid on top of me and said dramatically, "the sky's awake, so I'm awake, so we HAVE to play!"
I rolled over again and tried to go back to sleep when she whispered into my ear, "Do you wanna build a snowman?"
We quickly and quietly snuck into the ballroom and shut the door, making sure our parents couldn't hear us. They never approved of my power and always told me to 'conceal' them. With a quick flick of my wrist, it was snowing inside and our snow day had begun! We skated around on the ice, had a snowball fight and built a snowman which we named Olaf. I then created a small snow hill for us to slide down. All was going well until Anna began jumping from small snow mounds shouting "CATCH ME!" I couldn't keep up! I slipped on the ice And struck her in the head, watching as she hit the ground. "Anna?!" I cried out. "Mama! Papa!" My parents rushed into the room and took Anna to see the mystical trolls that lived in the forest on the outskirts of Arendalle. When they returned, my dad said Anna would be fine but I could never see her again. In fact, I couldn't see ANYONE again! I began to tear up, knowing I would never see Jack again. With this knowledge, I fell asleep.
