" Okay class to day we will be learning about-" the teacher starts but Vanessa doesn't listen she just starts drawing. The door opens and a new kid walks in Vanessa lifts her head up and looks at the new kid.
"Hi what is your name?" Mr.Upmen asks
"Jake."
"Ok Jake why don't you sit next to Vanessa right there." the teacher pointed to the empty seat next to me.
"Hi I'm Vanessa." I say as he sits down
"Hi I'm Jake"
"WOW that is really good did you draw that!" he exclaims as he looks at my notebook.
"Do you like it?" I question.
"Like it no. I love it. Yes." He says excitedly
"VANESSA! JAKE! STOP TALKING!!!" Mrs.Upmen yells frustrated Jake and I just laugh.We talk the rest of class the teacher just gives up.
"Ok everyone freetime." Upmen says
"So tell me about yourself." Jake questions me
"Well I'm the youngest of 4 I love drawing and I'm on the basketball team. Not to brag but I'm the star player." I say proudly
"Yeah?"
"Yeah."
"I bet I could take you any day."
"Puff yeah right."
"I can."
"Ok so you know about me know what about you?"
"Well... let's see I love basketball,soccer,and baseball. I am the only child and I have 2 cats."
"You have CATS?!?!"
"Yeah? Why?"
"I love cats."
"You should come over sometime."
"Ok." I state just then the bell rings.
"What class do you have?"
"Umm Social Studies"
"Me too let me see your schedule." he hands me his schedule.
"We have every class together and I sit alone so you can sit by me."
"Cool."
"Yeah let's go" we walk to the next class and my friends are in it great. We walk in and I instantly hear my friends.
"Ohhh Vanessa has a boyfriend." Mare teases
"Oh shut it Mare you know I am dating Cal."
"Yeah Mare you are the one who set them up." Evangeline states
"Will you two ever stop bickering." Malven states as he walks up to Mare .
"Aww" I tease
"Be quite Vanessa Titanos." Mare snaps
"Make me Mareena Samos." I bark in return as I call to my lighting and she has metal blades dance around her she send one flying through the air it scrapes my cheek I fell my silver blood trickle down my cheek but I hold my ground we stare at eachother no moving. I start to laugh soon she does too Jake looks confused. The teacher enters the room and so dose Cal. I wave to him and he waves back. We all find our seats and we start doing work. I look at the clock 30 seconds left of class then lunch. The bell rings and we all rush out of the classroom I find Jake.
"Hey come eat lunch with us."
"Ok"
We find Cal and the others Cal is talking to Malven.
"Hey" I say as I go up and kiss Cal on the cheek
"Hey" he looks at my cheek and turns my head to look at it I hiss from the sudden movement.
"What happened?" he says with worry in his eyes
" Mare."
"What did you do to her?!"
"We got into a standoff I'm fine Cal."
"Evangeline can you heal her." Evangeline walks over and grabs my cheek i hiss from the pain she touches it and with cool hand she heals my cut.
"The perks of having a skin healer as a friend."I say as I smile the pain now gone.
"Oh I totally forgot guys this is Jake. He's new here and he is going to be hanging out with us."I say as I pull jake over.
"Hi" Jake says shyly
"Hi I'm Malven Calore Burner."
"Hi I'm Mareena Samos Magnetron. "
"Hi I'm Evangeline Iral skin Healer."
"Hi I'm Tiberias Calore but call me Cal Burner."
"Wait are you and malven brothers?" Jake questions. Cal nods Jake eyes land on me
"So what ability do you have?"
"Well my mother is a storm and my father is a oblivions. So the combination of them gave me this unieck ability."
"Oh" he stares at me something flickers in his eyes Cal seems to notice and pulls me close to him.
"So Jake what is your ability?" Malven states breaking the tension between Cal and Jake.
"Umm... I'm a strongarm."
"Cool" we all replied
"Lets eat." I say as I dash towards the lunch line Malven on my heels. We all get our lunch and sit outside under a tree. I lean my head on Cal. Lunch is over and we all have training next. We all go and get in our suits. Each with the color of our house the instructor comes in.
"Laps." he says plainly we all start on our laps me and Cal leading the pack. The wall moves and shives pulling and pushing pieces out and in we dodge and slide over and under the obstacles. When we are done Cal and I were the only ones not breaking a sweat.
"Vanessa and Mare middle." we do as we are told and a dome forms around us.
"Who has the advantage?" no one dares answers. I get ready so dose Mare. Once the dome is complete we strike. She makes these metal spiders and they crawl all over me cutting into me. strike with my lighting the lights go out all you see is the flash of my lighting white and purple cut through the darkness. I have her trapped.
"Yeld?"
"Not yet." just then a metal spike pierces my shoulder i scream out in pain. She keeps hitting me over and over her metal cutting into my skin I scream in pain every time. Cal knows that i won't yield so he stops the fight. And grabs me. Me hissing from the contact he takes me to the nurse and she pulls out the metal daggers from my body i scream in pain and agony and Cal flinched each time. I blackout from the pain and let the darkness and abyss consume me.
