Alright.
Before you read this, yes I read the last chapter and yes I understand why the senseis had favourites. :)
I bet we can all agree that the sensei's were biased towards their students.
Kakashi favourited Sasuke and Naruto over Sakura, in fact he basically abandoned her when the other two left. I get it, the team split up, but she's still your student dude. During their first C rank mission, Sakura showed good potential in Chakra control during the tree climbing exercise. Instead of trying to teach her new things such as the walking on water technique, Kakashi simply dismissed her and went back to watching the other two.
Kurenai favourited Hinata. I know, Hinata was really shy and needed help breaking out of her shell. I'm not saying Kurenai shouldn't have helped her, I'm just saying that she could've gave a little more attention to Kiba and Shino. During the chunin exams, Kurenai showed more interest in helping Hinata talk to Naruto after his fight than checking up on her student who was being carried away on a stretcher. I get it, Hinata has a crush and needs help, but it's not like she would never see Naruto again, Kurenai could've helped her another time.
Asuma and Shikamaru's bond was great, and we all loved it, but what about Chouji and Ino? Asuma still bought stuff for Chouji (ex. Food), but when has he really payed attention to Ino? And even if he did buy things for Chouji, he still didn't pay attention to his potential and skill. It was always Shikamaru.
Gai and Lee, the most youthful duo in Konoha. When Lee was injured (I think it was after the Chunin exams when Lee fought Gaara.) Gai said he would die along with Lee if he did not make it. Gai would kill himself and leave behind his other two students if Lee died. I always wondered if he ever thought about how it would affect Neji and Tenten.
I don't hate the sensei's, I just wish that they had more moments with their other students and not just their favourites.
