Some time passes, and none of us say a word until we get to the ship.

-Captain! You're back! And with the lass!-

-Shut it Mighty.- He walks away. No words said between us.

I walk down to Sonia's room, in which i find her...READING?! I want that book so bad. I guess I'm looking at it like a piece of juicy meat (Or fruit salad, depends...), because she closes the book, and tosses it to me.

-So, you're back. That's actually a surprise.- I smile at her. I didn't think that I would miss her like this after just some hours. But it might be because of the book she just gave me.

-My brother isn't one that cares too much about the new people that gets aboard this ship. He mostly lets them...disappear if they want to.- I don't give that much thought and walk towards the bed.

-Hey, Amy. You're processing what I'm talking about, right?- I look at the cover of the book, and smile. This book is one I haven't read in awhile. I notice that Sonia is still waiting for an answer from my side, and I look at her, confused.

-I don't understand what you're trying to tell me.- She sighs at my ignorance, and sits beside me on my bed.

-Ok, remind me to not give you a book before talking to you. However, my brother did something that he would never do. So...- She stands in front of me again, looking me right into my eyes, and piercing into my soul.

-What's so special about you, that my brother would bother?....Interesting.- I look at her, and start to process her words. She has a fair point there. Why would he try to get me back here anyway?

-I...don't know.- She nods in comprehension, and sits on her own bed now.

-Funny thing though. The one that actually decides if you stay in this boat is me...he's supposed to put you in challenging tests for me to judge...- Wait, what?!

-You are the typical rich kid. But you do your tasks, and are brave enough to take the chance to escape. You need some practice in self defense though...- Why is she sizing me up? I'm starting to feel like an object!

-I won't accept that you size me up like a furniture, Sonia. So just get to the part of killing me. But don't expect me to make it easy for any of you.- She smiles evilly at me.

-Big mouth for such a defenseless girl. What about we make this up once and for all?-

Sonic's POV

I was calling for the lass after I got my instructions with the map. She ran off, as I suspected she would, but I never thought that she would be able to actually hide from me. I called out her name, feeling something very wrong in my gut. Something's off, and I don't know what that might be. I run back, searching, when I suddenly hear a voice, too familiar to push away.

-Don't take it too personal. I don't like you, and you don't like me. But I need the money, and you need to get free from this situation...alive.- It hasn't changed that much from the last time I met him. I watch carefully, hiding, when I see the lass there. She's bound like a turkey in christmas! But with a cloth on her mouth. That fierceness in her eyes still radiating like lightning bolts from all of her being.
