Ayden's POV
Sitting inside all day isn't my ideal way of spending Saturday. Cleaning wasn't on my list either. It was down there with school and being sick. But none the less, that's what I was stuck doing, by the request of my mom. So on this Saturday my eight brothers and I all got to clean our house and wait for our new guest.
Yes. Eight brothers. I know what you're thinking. Wow. That's all. It was a lot of wrestling and girls over, but we always managed to still be around each other, even if we didn't want to. It was a damn zoo at my house. Nine guys including my dad, and one poor little mom. She must be very happy about the new guest.
So I got to sit in the kitchen trying to clean out the fridge or the sink, while all my friends were driving around drinking and having fun. I scrubbed the sink about a little more, trying to get this last grease stain that wouldn't budge and by the end of ten minutes of trying, I sat on the floor not in my best mood. The rag landed in the family room on the floor some where and the stain stood there proudly, untouched.
I sighed, frustrated. I finally gave up and got back on my feet and started walking through our family room and to our stairs. I ran up the stairs two at a time and reached the top with in a few seconds. I passed my brothers room and reached the end of the hall and opened my own wooden door. I creaked slightly when opening, like every time.
I stepped on the hardwood floors, kicked my door shut and walked across the room and jumped on my bed, into a heap. I pulled my phone out of my back pocket and quickly put in the password. I opened up my text messages and began texting Jack.
After a few minutes, I got up from my bed and walked over to my dresser, which was right next to my door. I opened up the top drawer, which held all my DVDs and CDs. I pulled out a Three Days Grace CD and put it in my radio on top of my dresser. It started and I went back to my phone on my bed.
My door suddenly opened a few minutes later by Aaron.
"Turn down your damn music!" He shouted over my music. I rolled my eyes at how tough he tried to be, swearing. The pain in the ass then went over to my dresser and turned down my music to what seemed like a faint whisper. He marched back to the door and slammed it.
I laughed when I heard my mother's voice yelling at him for slamming another door. I went back to my phone and texted Jack back.
"Ayden!" My mother yelled from the bottom of the steps. She always yelled from there. " Get your ass down here" she said and I heard here walk away.
I left my room and jogged down the stairs and found my mother in a coat with her light brown hair barely touching the neck. Her long boots were on and she looked ready to leave.
"What?" I snapped. I hated when she called my down here and made me walk all the way down here.
"We're leaving. Get your coat" she said and started walking towards the door. Her hair bouncing as she walked. Her heels clicked with every step.
"I'm not going, and I don't need a coat it's thirty three degrees" I said. She looked back at me and placed her right hand on her hip. Her green eyes squinted at me.
"Your coming. Now get your coat" she said. I sighed knowing there was no changing her mind. I grabbed my coat and walked through the door.
The roads were finally starting to look better with all the snow melting. A few weeks ago the roads were horrid. Almost ten car crashes a day. I stared out my window, seeing a light reflection of myself.
My short brown hair looked out of place and my blue eyes blended in with the window. My red shirt stood out through the window and I could even see a small bit of my mom.
