Chapter 7 - Pranks

Kagome was walking down the halls with Sango and Kikyo. The three girls made plans to prank the boys. As they walked down the hall giggling Kagome turned to the two girls, saying, "let's get Koga first."

Sango immediately agreed followed by a 'yes' from Kikyo.

They walked down to his room with balloons filled with paint. They had an entire bucket.

Sango knocked on his door and smiled sweetly when he opened it. Kagome shouted 'Now!' and she ducked to avoid getting hit. The girls threw their paint balloons and covered Koga in paint.

"If you weren't three hot girls I'd kill you right now," he glowered.

They giggled and left him to clean up the paint.

"Let's get Sesshoumaru next," giggled Kikyo.

"No way, he'd kill us!" Kagome denied.

"Would he kill Kagura?" Sango asked deviously.

Kagome thought for a minute, "yes." The girls laughed and made their way down to Miroku's room. Inuyasha was hanging out with Miroku so they'd have to be extra prepared.

Sango knocked on his door and once again smiled sweetly at him when he opened it.

"Sango, to what do I owe the pleasure?" he asked her kindly.

"Now!" Kagome shouted, causing Sango to duck. Paint splattered all over Miroku as he gave a look of sincere annoyance. They pushed past him to find Inuyasha looking unamused. Kagome threw a balloon but he caught it. However, the fragile balloon broke in his hand and paint splattered everywhere. He growled and stood up. Kagome and Kikyo looked at each other before saying, "Run."

The girls took off and grabbed Sango as they ran down the hall throwing paint balloons at the fuming Inuyasha behind them.

Finally he caught up to them and grabbed Kagome, dragging her back to help him clean off the paint.

"One down," Kikyo said giggling.

"Let's call it quits?" Sango suggested.

"No way!" Kikyo objected. Sango handed her the bucket and said,

"I'm out, I've gotta go help Miroku." She walked back to Miroku's dorm room.

Kikyo sighed, walking back to her room, where she threw out all the paint balloons.

She slumped down on her bed and said to herself, "that was fun! I just wish it could've lasted longer."

Kikyo turned on her side and went to bed.

The next day for lunch, Kikyo sought out the girls. She found the entire gang at the same table, Inuyasha, Kagome, Kagura, Sesshoumaru, Shippo, Sango, Miroku, even Koga.

She took her lunch and sat down with them.

"How's the paint?" she asked.

"Very funny, Kikyo," Inuyasha growled.

"I must admit, it was a clever prank," said Miroku.

"I say they have potential. But right now they're amateurs," Koga added in.

"Thanks?" Kagome said with a laugh.

They all ate their lunch and laughed and talked.

"You should've pranked Sesshoumaru!" Kagura cackled.

"We wanted to but we were worried he'd kill us!"

They all laughed and had fun for the rest of lunch. After that Inuyasha had to go back to his school.

Classes were boring but at the end of the day, they all went back to Kagome's room and chatted until the staff yelled at them to go to sleep.
