Once I finally made it to my car, I remembered the money I had to drop to Red. I opened the glove box and pulled out a hundred and fifty thousand. " if I take this much it at least leaves me nine hundred and fifty." I drove over to Reds house. I deep breath and walk to the door. I slowly lift my arm wanting to run the opposite direction and never look back but I continued on with the knock. Some girl answered the door, she was tall and skinny and had huge bamboo earrings and a lollipop. "Can I help you!?" Pulled the lollipop out of her mouth. "Move I'm looking for red" "who's asking" she glared at me. "Yo momma bitch! Now get the hell out da way before I help your little ass!" I pushed past her and went into the back room. Music was blaring, you could hear guys laughing and joking and clouds of smoke filled the air and mixed with the color red in the room. It had a positive feel but I knew the people in it were far from positive. I walked up to Red and flung the money into his lap. "Here" "what is this hun?" "The money I made from last night, it's 1050.. it's all there trust." I said. "Good girl! Would you like anything in return?" He asked curiously. " my friend is coming into town and I would like to see her" he look ed at me with wonder and smile at me. He grabbed for my hand and I flinched. "I'm not going to hurt you, sure why not you deserve it love bug. Enjoy your night." I could see the biting hate and the lies that seeped out of his mouth. I knew he was lying he hated for me to take the night off unless it involved me going into the strip joint and making more money. But i let it be and smiled and left. I walked out the front door and I was trembling on the way back to the car. I just want to get away from him so bad.
